It's already been confirmed but the contacts app is now working

also the AOSP messaging does not sync photos, but a quick su messaging -mot fixes that

also i cant stress enough how happy i am that this rom is practically the only rom ive ever rom ive ever run that allows the computer to recognize the mtp usb drivers and the device as a droid x

EDIT: Also again the OVerclock options are there I just have no idea how to use them

i wanted to try a LV for a single session only but everything i tried came back not found.. i ****in suck lmao

Using the overclock is not too difficult. Just choose the profile you want, then apply it. If it turns out to be very stable, you can set it to auto turn on at boot. So the progression would go like this:

su
overclock -ulv (or whatever other profile you want)
overclock -apy (to apply that profile for a single session)
cpuinfo (just to make sure it took)

and if you like it/it is *very* stable, you can enable auto overclocking at boot:

su
overclock -on (after you've picked a profile)

Alright I just applied ULV, what's the easiest way to tell if it's stable or not?

And I should also probably reboot my phone before I go to bed because that will take the OC off right?

Fab, You didn't get a chance to comment on Themes for this Faboulous Rom..I actually deleted all those other roms on my DX..This one is just that good. It's different from the others. MIUI (if ever ported ) will be the next rom I install aside from an apex update..

He said that he can't theme right now because the power in his house isn't functioning in the room where his desktop is and that once he's able to use his desktop he will start themeing.

Does HDMI work on this ROM? I've looked through the posts, but I did not see anyone mention it. I'm interested in the non-leak version of the ROM.

Also just picked up my phone after a few hours of Call of Duty and it was cold to the touch, so I'm guessing rebooting and running overlock -off worked....

HDMI works, Jrummy's oc app works as well. Honestly the only ROM I've run where HDMI does not work is Focused because the blur gallery is not present.

This may be a dumb question, but is this the newest version? Difficult to tell, as Fab doesn't have his own subforum (which I'm thinkin he deserves!) And is there a theme I could lay on this?

I've read a recommendation to try Apex, evidently it's very awesome!

The Revo and Next themes work, you just lose the fancy transitions. Which Im assuming once Fab ports the themes to 1.2 the transitions will be back.

Edit: quick question, I'm still pretty new to the whole rom flashing thing for my x so forgive my newb-ness lol. What's the difference between this rom and being stock rooted aside from all the graphical delicious-ness and the overclock/flexibility of Aosp app choice. Like are there performance increases? Sorry lol, I'm still debating about trying to update to the leak. If I update to it will I still be able to update to official OTA builds? (I imagine though that by the time they do have an ota I won't care lol, just like what happened with my droid. I was pretty much rooted rom only.)

Well...I tried it out, and I found it to be very cool indeed, thougg slighty less smooth/zippy than Focused...but I had to go back to focused, as Handcent wouldn't send MMS on Apex...I had this issue with SSX also...when sending MMS via Handcent, it just keeps showing the spinner, and the message never sends...other than breaking Handcent,I love it...so...if that can be fixed, I'll convert to an Apex user
