no not like that. I guess I should have been clearer. On the top of the screen where it says all contacts when I pressed on that before a menu came up and I could seperate them by google/facebook/phone only contacts. That's what I am having trouble with. I have to go into the dialer...then contacts...then edit them from there now.

I'm not sure. You could just reflash, just wipe the cache and the dalvik, don't factory reset, just reflash the version of ApeX you are running and it will overwrite everything.

this rom is fire! no issues so far and been running it hard for 3 days now.

this is how I have to now. It doesn't allow me to do it like it did on the stock ROM. I can go to the contacts in the app drawer but can't just select phone contacts only. I can choose all contacts/google/facebook. That's it.

I answered your PM before I saw your post here. The following is the solution you're looking for.

Yes, hitting the all contacts up top here gives you the option to sort by account, etc.

Yes that's the list. But mine only has

not sure why or what happened. I just want that back and this is perfect for me! I love this rom (yes first once after stock)

I don't know what else to try. I have tried to re-sync google. I have tried to un-link everything in the contacts. I have tried looking to see if this was one of the removed files for the ROM. I just got all the data restored for the apps so I didn't want to reinstall the rom and wipe again. I will if that is what someone thinks will work.

Did you uninstall any apk's through the Terminal Emulator? If so, try just flashing the ROM's .zip file over what you have in Bootstrap, don't wipe, just flash and it'll bring the apps back if that's what's causing this.

The only one I did through the TE is Vvm.apk to get my vm button back. That was it. Nothing uninstalled though.

Hi everyone... just got my X last night and got rooted ASAP. I have had a rooted OG and a rooted Inc. I am really enjoying Apex 1.3.1, thanks for the work Fabolous! For some reason thought I dont have a boot animation. I get the generic "androd" with moving blue when I go throug the boot. I found the animation I want to run and placed it in my data/local and it didnt boot, so I then put it in sytem/media and still no boot. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for the help!!!

Data/Local is the correct location, just be sure that the animation is still zipped and named bootanimation.zip
