[ROM] ApeX for Droid X - An AOSP Experience

In terminal :
su
overclock oc

Not working for me. No errors in terminal. I have overclock off, as well.

What themes are compatible with the v1 rom. I had the NexTheme installed on RC2 but once I installed it I got FC on Battery Manager so I restored from backup. Thanks in advance

I know I just noticed that it would be 1ghz with the auto off after putting in the oc command so I tried turning it on even though clearly stated in the directions but I was bored at work so it did work but it kept rebooting. I just typed in the auto off command and it stopped it from rebooting but was just trying stuff out. You do great work and I always follow directions first I jus thought id tell you what I did that's all

Did you forget a dash in front of oc?

Yup, forgot the dash! I tried it and it says I'm blazing. Phone is actually in turtle mode, though, so I don't think my phone can do 1.3. Gonna go back. Thanks!

How did you get it to work?

How did you get it to work?

In terminal on the phone:

su
overclock -off (do this so if -oc doesn't work on your phone, you can reboot and it will go back to stock speeds)
overclock -oc
setscaling.sh

My phone slowed to barely a crawl so I rebooted. SetCPU confirms that I'm back down to stock 1.0, but my setscaling file in the /system/xbin still says I'm at 1.3. Any thoughts there, Fab?

EDIT: I now ran

su
overclock -def
setscaling.sh

and got a bunch of errors in terminal. My setscaling.sh file in Root Explorer says I'm at the ApeX default values, but SetCPU says I'm at stock values (1ghz). More help? :)

If you disabled auto overclocking, you need to manually load the overclock module before running setscaling

su
insmod /system/lib/modules/overclock.ko
setscaling.sh

Having a small problem with v1.0

When I make a call and hang up, if I would go to make another call right away, it will not dial. There is nothing but a rapid tone in the earpiece (almost like a busy signal, but faster). I don't know if this is related to v1.0 or not.

One way to duplicate the problem is to call your voicemail. Hang up, then immediately call it back.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Edit: Nevermind. I don't think it was the phone. After doing a Google search, a rapid busy tone is the cell provider's signal that it can not connect to a tower due to a full cell. After about a hour last night, I tried to reproduce the problem and couldn't. I'm going to chock it up to a cell tower problem in the area.

And the ROM is running great. Fast and stable.

Messed with it more had it workin but a lot of random reboots for no reason should I change the voltage? I just don't know what you have in this.rom and don't feel like starting over but I guess that's just part of the droid experience right?
