corporate sync notification sound - bug? quirk?

noticed something funky in the notification on corporate sync.
regardless of the custom sound set in corporate sync, it seems to default back to the general notification sound set under the system notifications/ringtone. any ideas?

everything else in this rom seems to be working perfectly.

Just upgraded to 1.4 from Darkslide after a full data wipe and while I liked Darkslide, Apex is even better. My new Besteverskins came in so I have to wait 24 hours at the earliest before I can use my DX again but so far I really, really like Apex 1.4.

Once I get some extra money by the middle of next month, I will definitely contribute to the beer fund. This is one of the best balanced ROM I have ever tried. :icon_ banana:

Try taking out the battery then put it back in and turn the phone back on. The phone should then power up once you turn it on again and hopefully it will download the sbf file.

OK I think I may have missed typed. I downladed it to the PC...lol I'm now in Android System Recovery. I did a factory reset but still at M. Now what...lol

OK, not to give up hope, The usual disclaimer of I can take no responsibility for the following instructions since doing this wrong can screw up your phone but since your phone is borked anyway, well, you get my drift.

First, boot into factory recovery by holding the home button and the power button, then when you see the screen come on release the home button on hit the search button and try a factory reset.

If that works then I would suggest you go back to a stock factory setup and start from there to whatever you were trying to achieve.

If this does not work, you may have to ask around the forum for someone else who has more experience with bricked phones than me or you may have to take it to/call Verizon and get a replacement. I hope worst case, you did get Asurion or something like it when you got the phone.

Did you make a nandroid? If so then you should just boot back into recovery and flash your backup. If not then you learned the hard way and will have have to sbf. One good note is to keep the maderstock340.zip file on your SD Card so you always have a flashable .sbf if needed, instead of having to do it the long way on your comp. Good Luck!

After flashing to Apex 1.4 i am unable to get my facebook contacts to sync to my phone. Every time i try to add my facebook account i either get an error or it says wait while they are being synced and it gets about 3/4 of the way and stops. I have tried clearing user data, uninstalling and re-installing the fb app, resets and battery pulls. Any clues?
