However, if i may ask one thing, how do I turn off/reduce the volume on the THX sound?! I have my phone on vibrate (because @ work) w/ media volume muted and the sound still plays at boot. Not a big thing really, but if i can get away with flashing files/rebooting without it being obvious to all around me ... then i'd like the option.

how did you guys get it to install Iam tryiung on phone and medifare keeps saying processing request but wont start down load it started twice then said got interupted and didfnot install

Go to android terminal:

Type SU then Apextoolbox then 6 then 3 then 2.

That should disable it.

Fab great job on the rom like always just one question. I hate the black bars on all these DX roms and would like my white bar and stock icons in it back. Ive tried your universal theme remover but it always just stops at the M logo. Any help would be nice i dont know how to theme or i would do it myself. Thx

So I just installed the update and forgot to take my own advice and didn't wipe cache. Anyone know if this really matters.seems to be fine just lost my black white and chrome theme. Should I flash back and redo? Any help would be great. Thanks

I wipe cache as a precaution, but it's not entirely necessary.

As for a the white bar, I don't really know of any themes that incorporate them. You seem to be in the minority here, sorry!

Just run a deodexed stock one and remove the bloat.

I am using mediagallery.apk (blur gallery). I recently recorded a video with camcorder however when I play the video back I get an error message "can't open content://media/external/video/media/1 to play" I was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

Seems noone else is having this problem. When I do a hard press on the video in the gallery and then go to advanced editing it will play with however the notification bar is there as well as the edit functions. Any advise would be appreciated.

If you want to do it manually, it's pretty easy:
