Ah you were supposed to wipe cache prior to installing update. Not trying to sound like im beating you up, just so you know where you probably went wrong. Thinking you'll have to sbf, but im not an expert with that so couldn't tell you for sure. Good luck with it though.

yea i know, usally I do that but today i just pull the trigger with out aiming.

Some one told me to give it a few minutes and see if that brings it back but if not Im going to try and sbf.

I cant down load zip from phone wont let me do it wont start download gets to that point every time anyone have that problem

I didn't wipe my cache when I installed. So far I haven't *knock on wood* noticed anything. Should I sbf to be safe and re-root, etc?

figured out a way to 1) make VoIP phone calls over 3g using Google Voice so no more "verizon minutes" being used 2) make skype to skype calls over 3g. Verizon is going to be so pissed! haha

I'ma start calling 1-800 numbers just for the heck of it.

having reboots on 1.4 Do I need to wipe data and cache when going to 1.4.1?

Well I decided to give 1.4 another try after my fiasco last week. To recap, I downloaded last week and attempted top remove the clock from the status bar up top. This required a reboot that never came...lol I got the replacement phone on Sat morning (whew) and IMMEDIATELY rooted the phone...lol I had a good backup of 1.3 but I couldnt go out without trying 1.4...SUCCESS! Had a few issues with the GB keyboard force closing but that sick toolbox hooked me up. Also got the sick Aqua theme...Thanks Fab and Family for allowing me to make my X my own.

I love this ROM the most; I think it certainly has the best of both worlds. The customization is great. I'm left wondering about this throttling feature. What does it do? Does it stop Verizon from throttling your phone for using too much data?

Finally got the 1.4.1 zip downloaded not that there was anything wrtong with 1.4.0 I couldnot get mediafire to download the zip juyst wouldnot start download Im using launcherpro so out of desperation I switched to ADW it downloaded first time dont understand it but it worked. Now that I have 1.4.1 can I delete 1.4.0 or is 1,4,1 dependent on it? Thanks

Before the patch my download speed was 2.2 afterwards I get 2.9. It makes a difference especially since I d/l about 6 gbs every month just from streaming video and web surfing and app downloads.

Yea I just checked at work where I used to get 300Kb I now get 1.5 Mb. Pretty big leap if I do say so myself and the speed is definitely noticeable.

Trouble with Lockscreen music controls?

So I will admit I strayed from the path of Apex for a while and tried Liberty 1.5...

That being said, I've come back to Apex 1.41. I'm having a problem with the music controls showing on the lockscreen. I went to install the lockscreen controls and the toolbox said they were installed already. They weren't showing though, so I uninstalled them, installed the motorola music thing, uninstalled that, then re-installed the locksreen controls again. Nothing, they won't show.

Granted, I'm basing my assumption of when they show based on Liberty 1.5 where they would show while listening to Slacker. Is this the case with Apex 1.41?
