[ROM] [ROM] ApeX V1.4.1 for Droid X & Droid 2 - Refinement and Ease of Use (2/22/2011)

FmRadio does work.... here are the files u will need to get it to work....

(Unzip this and put the .apk's on ur sdcard and use ApexToolBox to install them... Its option (2) then option (i) once in the toolbox, and follow the prompts~)

on a side note... u do know that we have SlackerRadio or Pandora...right? :)

Great news, thanks for testing!! Yeah, I use Pandora and Tunein on my Droid 1, but the FM radio was one of the reasons I'm upgrading to a DX. I like to listen to one of my local stations at work in the morning and I'd rather listen over the air instead of streaming. :)

An update: flashed back to 1.3.1 with all my same apps as in 1.4.1 and I'm getting no black screens, lockups or anything of that nature. My thought was that maybe the newer version of ADW is causing issues with the rest of the rom. Oh well, I'll be running good ol 1.3.1 in the mean time.

I was having those issues as well...Using LPP now with no ADW installed and it is running amazing. no freeze ups in the last 2 weeks

Follow Fab on twitter and saw him mention that logging out of latitude drastically improved his battery life - it was on another device - but I used this information on my DX and I have noticed an improvement on my battery life as well. I am a pretty heavy user at that as I travel a little over an hour each way on the train and user pandora while working and playing on twitter/fb, so any battery saver suggestions i try. Figured I would throw this out to the community...

Problem! I did the updatetb thing and now the toolbox won't work (when i try to run it it says "Syntax error: newline expected") which is a problem because I tried to get the blur messaging suite but now I just have no messaging at all.

i tried to go on your wiki but the server seems to be down, perhaps that is related to the issue?

Fabolous's server is down right now for apex's toolbox. He has been having issues with his host. He posted it on twitter that he hopes to have it up by Monday.

Thanks for the fast response, is there any way I can get the messaging app back before then?

The only way would be if you haveanother blur update.zip you can extract them and manually copy and paste the apk's using root explorer and set the permissions. Then either rename the old messaging and email to .bak from .apk or delete them then reboot.

This is also doable from adb but I don't know all the commands off of the top of my head.
