[ROM] ApeX V2.0.0 Release Candidate (RC2) (6/11/2011)

so im trying to make use the poweroverwhelming script that's listed on the first page. for some reason, in terminal emulator, when i type in su, nothing happens. i just move down a line and thats it. am i doing something wrong?

i just went through the various steps to go back to froyo, then to gb, then flashed apex...now upon the first reboot after installing apex, it did the google screen, now frozen on the apex animation over and over....any ideas? did a battery pull, did the same thing again. letting it try to load for a lil i guess

Do you have Superuser setup to provide a notification? Type in the whole thing and see if an Apex screen pops up.

Press and hold the HOME key while booting. Once it stalls with the little droid and triangle, you should release and be able to hit the search key and get in.

i can get to the little triangle ! thing with home and power, but when i release and press search, nothing, no buttons seem to work, just sits there

i cant get to either recovery...only the bootloader "camera+vol+power" thing....so i guess i have to sbf and start over?? any reason this happened / how to avoid it next time?

Does anyone else have problems with scrolling being sluggish/unresponsive? I tried Apex, but everytime I was in the app drawer I had to try to scroll multiple times to get it to register. Which is a shame because I did like Apex

so i checked it... when i typed in su then space because for some reason my keyboard was just logging what i was typing, it says access denied. i guess somehow, i got unrooted? so i try to run z4root again but it doesnt work. it just freezes... so i guess ill have to sbf and start over the process... oh, well...
ps. i tried to do the bootstrap but doesnt work either. just charging the battery up and seeing if i can get this done today... grrrrrr

P.s.2? - so i got it done... its working. thanks for your help brad92, and others in this forum... is there any other scripts available for this rom?

only thing I know to try would be doing a battery pull when the goggle logo pops up and seeing if you boot into clock work recovery.

ok well getting into stock recovery is a bit different on gingerbread, first pull the battery and reboot holding down home and power. the keys you have to hold down are different than froyo, don't remember to be honest.. It's either just home and power or it's home and something else to get to recovery and then both volume keys to get the options menu. worst case scenario you have to sbf_flash back to .340 and try again.. but i have only been in a scenario once that i couldn't get to stock recovery which is when i tried to flash gingerbread the first time and used DX bootstrapper like an idiot. SBF fixed me up though. don't give up on apex though, it is truly a great rom. also CM7 is worth checking out and you can flash it coming from froyo.
