[ROM] ApeX V2.0.0 Release Candidate (RC2) (6/11/2011)

Can anyone provide a link to the multi touch keyboard for this rom? I miss it so
Also which camera app do you guys prefer? I'm used to the fullscreen view of the blur camera I admit.

In advanced restore, which do I select to restore to get my apps back? Data, System or cache? Loving APE so far, just need my apps back to get my X running how I like it.

Thanks in advance for the help!

data.....however be careful, if you were on stock 596, you will most likely Loose your calendar function since this uses the AOSP calendar. not sure exactly how to fix it other than doing a data wipe...which defeats the purpose of an advanced data restore.

this is where titanium backup REALLY comes in handy.
i can wipe data, flash rom and have all my apps back within 20 minutes.

Hmmm..... maybe I'll just do a full restore of my rooted ota, then do a titanium backup, and reflash APEX and then load apps from titanium. That sound like it would work? Or would there be a better way?

The best way to install any rom imo to ensure a quality load is to do exactly that. Stay away from data restores as it usually creates nothing but issues. I installed apex from clean .596 deodexed. I then used titanium to restore only my apps and the app data NO system data. Then all I had to do was go through settings and change a few things. Quick, easy, painless and phone runs great.

clear data, flash rom

go to market
DL titanium
batch restore user apps and user data only, not system data
good to go in about 20-30 minutes.

I'll see if i can find it. not even sure of the name though :/

Edit: got the name of the files and i have them. trying to see if an old re-signed .apk file works first though
Edit#2: old signed .apk wouldn't download for some reason, and moving the latinME.apk and lib_latinme.so to the system (just like i did to get swype working on this rom) didn't work either.
feel free to try and download that re-signed apk from the link below...i just dont have time to mess with it right now.

When presented with the Android robot that tempts you to touch it, tap the four corners in a clockwise motion: upper left, upper right, bottom right, and then bottom left.

I am in a bootloop with the APEX screen and have not been able to correct. Have done battery pull many times. I have tried to get into recovery with no luck. I really need some help!!!!!!!!!

Power on the phone while holding the search button. Then push the indent between up and down volume. Use the power button to make a selection
