I already told you this....

I did the same thing to my brother's d2 yesterday, exactly like you just did (I DID mount system though), and it's working great. I wish I could help more. :(

I appreciate all the help you have given me, thanks!

Not sure what to do at this point, I wonder if the fact that I was on CM7 before has something to do with all these issues? I can't imagine how because, as I understand it, I completely reset my phone back to stock when I SBFd using RSD lite.

I really don't want to think about SBFing yet again, I guess I have to go back to LGB 0.9 and deal with the reboots, ect:-(

1st. fix permissions. that will fix the force close issues (hopefully)
2nd. the camcorder is accessed in the camera app. flip the "switch" in the middle

Build 20 is out. Installed and running good. Calibrated battery. Honeycomb 3D theme. Good stuff.

How do I fix permissions?

What do you mean the camera app? I don't see anything besides the usual camera icon, which doesn't have any sort of a switch.

Open the camera app. On the right side, you'll see a switch to change over to camcorder.

You can fix permissions in recovery (cw) not sure that will help tho (worth a try i guess)

The camera app wont open, it opens for a split second and then I get a message that says, "The application Camera (process com.android.camera)has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

I'm not sure what I may be doing wrong but I must be making some sort of mistake that is preventing me from getting a clean install.

Go into root explorer. Make sure you press the r/w button. Go to system/Apps, then find the camera apk. Long press on it and choose permissions. It should look like this
* * x
* x x
* x x

With the stars being checks and the x being unchecked

That is what the permissions look like.

I think the camera is the least of my worries right now, I just turned the phone on and I am now getting a repeating message "the process android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

SWFLDroid, are you on CM7 yet? I've lost track on where you are at now. You're having camera issues already?

CM7... it's what James Bond never had.

Try fixing permissions in recovery as was suggested earlier. It usually helps with fc.

Swagger: yes he is

Yes, I am on CM7 build 19. I had a lot of problems with my all-in-one install and ended up bricked and had to SBF using RSD.

Still having a lot of issues, force closes, ect.

If it was me, I would dl the new nightly, wipe data and cache, mount the system and install. Sign into google again. Hopefully, that would getting you off to a clean start!

(Actually, that's what I did this morning ;)
