Ok I will try that, but I wanted to also include that I just installed Liberty gb v0.9 the other day so data was already wiped.. This is my first mms I received since then and everything else is working perfectly now that I found either work a rounds or tweaks wasn't sure if possibly I missed something..

I haven't seen any issues with MMS other than that people are getting duplicate copies and/or notifications of messages when they're trying to use a third-party messaging app. Nothing about it FCing or anything. Maybe you found a new bug.

Well all settings even for AOSP seem fine I rebooted tested again and I receive pics fine now so not sure what my son sent me that caused an FC .. Anyway, only other real major issue im having is battery life it totally blows!! Any idea with that one?

Go into Liberty Settings->Sysctl and enable it. That helped with Liberty 2.0.1, I think it helps with LGB too. Someone plz correct me if I'm wrong.

If that doesn't help, download OSMonitor from the market and see what's chewing up your CPU.

You can also check your battery use after your phone's been off the charger for a bit. Settings->Battery & Data Manager->Battery Usage.

Regarding systcl, input these numbers from top to bottom

Then just reboot once a day to clear the necessary cache and you'll get a performance bump for sure. I won't get into the details of systcl but it's cool stuff

Also charge your phone to 100,then go into clockwork and wipe battery stats (under advanced). Then reboot and use the phone until it dies. Then charge to 100 again without a break and that will calibrate the battery. You can also dl the free app called battery calibration. Its good to do this after each rom install and every once in a while

Great thanks so much! Also Why does it seem soon as we fix one prob then another pops up? A friend just text me asking if I could send her a ring tone.. so I go to do this and I get a FC!! Argh!! I can send a pic without an issue but an audio I get FC.. I can receive an audio just not send.. something wrong with the process com. Android mms in this build? Im passed annoyed now... Temper setting in.. Any help here with this one??

It would take too long to explain it. I suggest google searching systcl. There are some good threads and articles on it that can explain much better than I. Oh and bump in a good way. I would never suggest something to ya that would make your phone perform worse!

I get the same fc when trying to send audio. A work around would be to send the file to dropbox and then generate a link to send to your friend. Its a pita, but it will work.

So this is a known bug then? Like the Liberty devs know about this? If not how do we bring it to their attention? I use every square inch of my phone to its capacity, I mean why not right? And to have to find all these work arounds is a royal pita like you said and not to mention very frustrating! This rom is SOOOO close to being perfect it blows my mind.. Lets just fix these couple of things and be done with the damn thing so everyone can move on you know??..lol And please forgive me, I dont know what dropbox is I have heard of it but have no clue how to get to it.. I guess I can google that too..lol I do want you to know I appreciate all your help.. It keeps me from going postal..lol :biggrin:

[EDIT] I looked up dropbox in the market..lol Thanks for the work around.. I just hope the devs know about this and can fix it..
