My DX does not show up in RSDLite

Man, this is not good, now my dialer does not work. RSD does not see my phone. I need my Liberty back, Liberty 2 that is. I think I am done with GB, but I am also stuck with a broke GB on my DX.

Are you booting the X into the bootloader?

Remember, it is still a beta rom. That being the case, i believe it runs pretty darn good. The devs prob know about it if it's in the bug thread. You can also send them a message or log to [email protected]

Make sure you're on rsd lite 4.9, you're in the bootloader and you're drivers are up to date.

Yes, To all of the above. I am following the sticky to the last stick and I get to the point of choosing my phone in RSD except no phone is there just empty blocks. When in bootloader it see when I connect to the computer via usb, just does not show up in RSD. I have contacted brother Kasey as requested by his sticky when your phone does not show up in RSD, but I guess he is working.

OK does bootloader say ok to program? What system area you on? Xp? Win 7? As long as it comes up as s flash in the 1st row, you should be good. The top left box can be blank.

yes, It comes up saying "ready to program" on the phone. black scree/white letters.
RSD 1st row is blank as are the rest of the numbered rows.
I do habe GB on the phone but it is corrupt and will not allow me to do nothing. I cannot even get to recovery. Just a black screen no triangle no nothing. I have to pull Battery for it to reboot. I am at wits end.
Oh I am on Win7 ultimate 64bit and I do have the 64 bit drivers from Moto.

Got it yep.. I'll send them a msg because I just found out that you cant send nor receive ANYTHING but pics and text.. Son tried to send me a vid and it FC'd in fact I couldn't even respond to him had to delete the whole thread then text him.. Must be a size thing perhaps not sure.. Thanks for the info..

Yes I am, one of the first things I checked. I also went to moto to make sure I have the latest drivers, which I d/l'd something. I think I might have found part of the problem. When I plug into usb it is telling me driver install failed. I do not know why though or if it's even true. Any suggestions on that.

That would be the issue. If it said that, no wonder why it's not reading. I would focus on that.

That is what I am doing, of course it would give problems I found a forum that said to connect to your computer then on the phone select PC mode and install that way when prompted. I just finished and it says the driver installed successfully, we will see in just a minute. This is really a pain in the butt. Why can't we go back to the good ole days two years ago with the Droid and Bugless Beast and rooting.
What I should have done is left the phone alone when I was getting bored with Liberty 2.
I'll let ya know if it works.

Still won't work the driver is not right that I downloaded from Moto. I d/l'd them all and tried each one individually and it says none of them are compatible. I need to get the dialer to work as this is my primary phone. This really blows.
