Still won't work the driver is not right that I downloaded from Moto. I d/l'd them all and tried each one individually and it says none of them are compatible. I need to get the dialer to work as this is my primary phone. This really blows.

Stupid question but have you rebooted your pc lately? and what OS version are you running?

Found some drivers on another forum and manually installed them. RSD sees the phone now. So I am going to get started again. Thanks for your help and I will update when I am done.

Great.. Cuz I was about to send you my copy..lol Please let us know how it went.. Fingers crossed for ya.

Installing part one, hopefully the battery will hold up. I have it plugged into the computer, hopefully the phone will figure it out, but I doubt it.
This goes pretty easy when things are working correctly. Took all day to get RSD and the driver working right though.
Installing part two. Will liberty toolbox reinstall from the market?
I'll check back l8tr.

It may or may not, I know I'm not much help there, but from my personal experience it did NOT and I had to go get it my self.. But no biggy really just snag it and re-install it..

@MendedLogic and WildRat: What specific drivers did you use to get rsd to see your phone? I'll update the LGB install post w/ them.

Sent from my DROIDX using DroidForums

All is well so far. Now for the fun. Downloading all the apps I have. I had to get a 32 gig card awhile back. Luckily New Egg had them on sale for anout 24 bucks. It's just over half full. Actually right now it's barely used at the moment. Thanks to everyone.
I have attached the driver files I found. These are 64 bit drivers.
Just unzip, then browse to the folder and let windows do the rest.
If I had had these this AM when I started I think it would have taken 15-20 minutes for this entire procedure.
