[ROM] Lithium Mod - Source built awesomeness! Themes galore!

Firstly this is by far the fastest/smoothest, most stable ROM I've ever flashed to my phone. Tried a ton of Kernels and thus far the P3 ULV 1Ghz runs the best - in fact my phone stays in the lower 80's in temps and drops more at times.

Secondly this is the first ROM where the Wifi tethering is actually functioning correctly for me which was a life saver at a meeting I attended last night. In any case I want to say great work devs and I can't wait for future releases! dancedroid:icon_ banana:

Where did you find P3's ULV? I've only ever seen LV

You're right that was a typo on my part. But it's still the coolest kernel I've found.

Hmm .. been running this since release and realized I can't download anything drum the browser from my phone (ROMS kernels, etc..) am I missing something in the settings? I didn't change anything to prevent it.

cant download,,

is this in rom manager or any download- I had to flash nandroid, then back to rom manager AFTER A REBOOT, and version 2.02.0 twice, first flash was SLOWWWW second FAST then it worked fine. did a recovery reboot backed up, and ever since all is good. chrome to phone, downloads from web, market all work.

more details on your problem would be helpful. IE do downloads start and fail, not start at all, do nothing when you click online links, give certain specific errors??

Question about the answer slider. I changed my font, to what, I cannot remember, but I havent had the issue since.

Is it possible different fonts could be causing the issue?

font size messes up alot of things, I had a larger base sized font and things were moved and some unusable, just changed to a smaller base sized (meaning the starting size is smaller) and issues went away-

my wife needs larger sized, so some settings are unusable for her (she hands me the phone and says 'fix it') :-P

I do not know on this build but often in coding you position things relative to other things and not absolute positioning, so a larger text or image can move other items. It sounds like your font change did just that.

if you have absolute system play with it, you will have your answer fast.

Oh I know...I work for a software dev company. I had the fontera font, and while it looked cool, when I changed it, to either comic or stock, all of a sudden, I didnt have a problem with answering calls.

Just throwing it out there to see if anyone else changes their font and the call slider issue goes away for them as well.

Im so jealous of everyone. I did the cyan theme and i keep getting random reboots. well, it just booted into the bootanimation. I did wipe. Tried out p3 kernels (1ghz) and tried out jdlfg 1050. No difference. I am at a loss, should I try a different kernel? I usually don't have issues with a rom like that.

I have had my phone unplugged for 10 hours and I'm at 70% battery with moderate usage all day...freaking awesome

Lithium mod with gala theme with and p3droid LV 1.25ghz kernel

Wow this is great so far !! I flashed it this morning and it's running good . I came from CM6RC2 without any wipe and everything's fine , p3d 1.2 lv kernel , we'll see how the battery goes .
Thanks Guys !!!! it looks great !!!!!

They start like they always did, ya know, "starting download", then the arrow in the notification bar. Then says "download unsuccessful ". Does that for everything I attempt to download from browser.

Idk if you guys ran in to the Twitter.apk issue, but I had to do some screwing around to get it to uninstall/reinstall from the market, so I thought I'd share.

From the 'Terminal Emulator', or 'adb shell' do:

rm /system/app/Twitter.apk
pm uninstall com.twitter.android

Then I installed the Twitter client from the Market, and it worked. :) Hope that makes sense. Cheers JRummy for an awesome ROM, and for continuing development for the Droid 1!

since JRummy is on vacation and I can't wait and like to know how to do it by myself anyways...does anyone know how to change the font colors for the notification bar/dropdown? and i know google is my friend and i cant find any good unbroken info... help is greatly appreciated.

928droid's black glass theme will no longer be supported by lithium mod. per request from 928droid and the admins here at droid forums. thanks for understanding.

Motorola's application "Corporate Directory" still refuses to run giving a message that "this is not a motorola droid". So sad, I need my corporate directory.

Same issue using Red Glass.

I'd imagine this has to do with the settings in /system/build.prop - This is the file that populates the stuff that's in Settings - About phone. That said, if someone looked into the stock ROM's build prop file, and determined which setting the Corporate Directory app was looking for- could flip it back. For example:

From Settings/About phone - My wife's stock 2.1 Droid says:
Model number: Droid, where as my Lithium Modded phone says Model number: Moto Droid.

There's other settings in the build.prop file that are not displayed there, but that could be the one that needs fixing. Once she gets the OTA, I can pull her build.prop, and we can compare them..
