[ROM] Lithium Mod - Source built awesomeness! Themes galore!

Is there an icon pack out there so I can change it back or is just the theme available so I don't update the whole ROM?

For those who were having issues with Superuser 2.2 that comes with this ROM there is a v2.3 available today on xda. I just flashed it. It got some nice changes.

[APP] Superuser 2.3 - What's it been doing? [2010-08-10] - Page 23 - xda-developers

Tried flashing using SPRecovery and it failed. Anybody else tried it yet? Don't have time right now to try to mess with it to get it to work with SPRecovery or i would

Flashed via ClockWork and it went without a hitch. Used to be a hardcore SPRecovery guy but switched to Clock and although it's usually seemless, I'm thinking about going back to SP because there are times when my phone won't boot into recovery....

Yeah. I'm a full SPR Guy, but I'm pretty sure SU 2.3 has to be installed via CWR. So I had to do it CWR and worked fine.

Currently only FULL ROMS are themed. None seperate. Makes it harder for someone to rip it off. If you explore the pink .zip you can find the fb icon and replace the stock one using better cut or folder organizer. But as far as theme the entire app ...that'd be pretty difficult. Unless JR comes out with an update. Which I'm sure the next version will include.

just checked it out on JRum's twitter - NIIIIIICE!! load that beyatch up!!
Careful navigation from the preview link will yield you the file. ;)

is that zip a real zip that should be extracted, or is that installed in recovery?
The file you may have stumbled upon is the actual bootanimation.zip file that is located either in data/local or system/media

This is not an update.zip format file to install from recovery.
If you have the file, merely copy and paste it into one of the two directories mentioned above via a file manager like Root Explorer.
If you put it in system/media..make sure there is nothing in data/local as when the phone boots...the data/local folder is checked first.
I think jrummy puts his bootanimations in data/local anyway so more than likely that is where the original file will be. Delete it, then paste the new one in there.
Reboot...all done :)

Alright, i installed LithMod Evo themed today, looks great. I install the p3 kernel 125-1100 low voltage... heard good things about it... however, when i install setcpu... at the main screen where u choose your min and max frequencys, when i try to change the max frequency, it automatically goes to the minimum 125. what's up with this?

No matter what value I drag the bar to, once I let go, it goes right back to 125. I've tried reinstalling, but the same thing... what's wrong with it?

Did you run the "Device Selection" from the menu, and can you confirm that it has Superuser Permissions?

i see, but since you explained it that way, from my PC, i went into the goodies folder on the SD card, and then into the boot animations folder, created a new folder called lithmod, and put the bootanimation.zip there.
afterthat i just installed it with absolute system. simple!

I've been running the Lithium Mod for 3 days now (updated from Kangerade) and the only issue I am having is the same that others here have reported. When my phone rings, the answer button is way off to the left side of the screen.

Hoping this issue will be fixed in a future update. Other than that, my Droid is working better than ever.

Thanks to Jrummy and his team!!!

Any word on updates for the clock and notification themed updates that will work with lithium mod? Been waiting for JRummy to get back to find out.

Hey all!!

I just put Lithium Mod on my Droid yesterday... Everything is groovy except 2 issues:

-- Black on black text issue (known) and
-- Answer slider too far to the left.

I am using the Droid X Theme.

Otherwise, I m LOVING this mod!!! I am getting 1509 on the Quadrant Benchmark and the phone is even more responsive than my roommate's Droid X! :)

Great work!

Brett

Can anyone tell me if they are having issues sending email from the gmail app? Just started recently so I'm not sure its the ROM as I have been using it for almost two weeks without issue until this came up.

Lith Mod with WMD. no custom kernel installed.

how did you convert the preview to a zip file? that's where i'm having a problem...

is that zip a real zip that should be extracted, or is that installed in recovery?
