no issues here.
Can anyone tell me if they are having issues sending email from the gmail app? Just started recently so I'm not sure its the ROM as I have been using it for almost two weeks without issue until this came up.

Lith Mod with WMD. no custom kernel installed.

Alright Lithium Mod wins. I just flashed the stock Verizon 2.2 Rooted and it was SO SLOW! You all win! I'm a ROM guy for life. I suppose if the Droid ever goes south and I need to send it in there's always a ton of ways to reflash to stock even if screen should fail.

Alright, i installed LithMod Evo themed today, looks great. I install the p3 kernel 125-1100 low voltage... heard good things about it... however, when i install setcpu... at the main screen where u choose your min and max frequencys, when i try to change the max frequency, it automatically goes to the minimum 125. what's up with this?

No matter what value I drag the bar to, once I let go, it goes right back to 125. I've tried reinstalling, but the same thing... what's wrong with it?

Did you run the "Device Selection" from the menu, and can you confirm that it has Superuser Permissions?

Yes, I did use device seletion and I selected the Autodetect Recommended Speeds option. Then it froze for a moment, then asked for SU permission. and I pressed allow, that's when i come to the main screen and run into this problem

Try clearing Gmail data. I had a similar issue where messages would get "stuck" in the outbox.

GoTo: Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Click on the "All" tab > then:

--Find 'Gmail'
--Tap to open 'Gmail'
--Press the 'Clear Data' button

Thank should fix it. Give it a few minutes to re-sync with Google and you should be all set. :)

how did you convert the preview to a zip file? that's where i'm having a problem...

The file you may have stumbled upon is the actual bootanimation.zip file that is located either in data/local or system/media

This is not an update.zip format file to install from recovery.
If you have the file, merely copy and paste it into one of the two directories mentioned above via a file manager like Root Explorer.
If you put it in system/media..make sure there is nothing in data/local as when the phone boots...the data/local folder is checked first.
I think jrummy puts his bootanimations in data/local anyway so more than likely that is where the original file will be. Delete it, then paste the new one in there.
Reboot...all done :)
i see, but since you explained it that way, from my PC, i went into the goodies folder on the SD card, and then into the boot animations folder, created a new folder called lithmod, and put the bootanimation.zip there.
afterthat i just installed it with absolute system. simple!
i didnt do anything like that. i just dropped the .zip in the folder i created,
then went into absolute/goodies managment/manage boot animations/ and the the folder i created, and then touch the boot animation.zip.

Can't say I've seen that before...

OK, more questions:

  • Are you having any other odd behavior on the phone that might indicate something funny with the kernel?
  • Have you successfully used SetCPU before?
  • What version of SetCPU are you using?
  • Can you confirm that you have the Froyo P3 kernel?

Suggestion/Request for next LithMod - notification pull down

i don't know if any of the dev'rs read these, but i had a request for the next LithMod update. in a couple of the other roms i've tried, they have the ability to modify the background and text colors for the Notifications pull down. personally, i like this little option...

i know carlz28 has already dev'd a possible boot, and that was the only other thing i had in mind.

other than that, PHENOMENAL rom!!!! can't wait for the next version!

There is nothing to convert. The preview is just that...a preview of what it will look like on your phone. The preview is actually a Flash animation loaded into a webpage. The bootanimation.zip file, should you be lucky to find where it is at, is the file to download and place on your sd card. No extracting..nothing to convert.
The only reason I'm not making it directly available via a thread in the forums is because it's a custom BA made for Lithium Mod. Jrummy16 will make the decision to put it in his ROM when it's updated or however he sees fit to make it available.
Don't worry..it'll be....soon ;)

Just wanted to post to thank all of the developers. Using the Red Glass theme and loving it. Just converted my screen unlock sound to a lightsaber turning on. I was on the verge of getting a Droid X or Incredible, and now wouldn't trade my phone straight up for either of those.

Lithium Mod is running great so far. Loving all the choices too. Has there been a fix for the call answer screen alignment? I see in this thread there are several posts about the problem, but I didn't see a fix. Did I miss that post or is the fix still in the works. At this point its just comsetic because I can answer calls just fine, but then again cosmetics is why I load the themed ROMS in the first place ;)

Usually I'm on top of things but ive been slipping. I was wondering if there was a fix to remove the clock from the status bar. Kangerade had it and I have BW for the main clock, otherwise I have a watch. OCD i guess, otherwise very nice ROM Jrummy....also Carlz-->>keep them BA's coming, seriously awsome.
