[ROM] Lithium Mod - Source built awesomeness! Themes galore!

My new voice search seems to be working fine. Only time it took me to a google search page was when i said "play Pink Floyd" instead of "listen to Pink Floyd". Even then it showed me some good youtube vids I hadn't seen :)

Strange. Are you stock Lithmod or themed (not that a theme should ever effect a system app, but I thought I'd ask).

I just tried saying "set cpu" and I got the google page. Oddly enough, the regular text search works just fine.

I am using Watermark'd

Stock lithium mod.

I dont think that's how the voice search is supposed to work. It only recognizes a few commands at current. Hit the help button when the voice box comes up and watch the video, its short and informative. Then try some of the examples like "listen to" and "send text".

Hope this helps!

...But the text search works a bit differently. If you start typing, it will start looking on the local phone for apps first and then expand the search when it can't find anything on the local phone. I suppose that it makes sense though, because the algorithm for searching text as one types is fairly straight forward, searching by voice is much more difficult. The computer KNOWS what applications begin with the letter S and can begin searching the index as soon as that letter is entered. Voice recognition is more difficult because words that sound similar may begin with different letters, and vice versa.

After a ROM manager updat today, I get a notification to update to .12. I update and it keeps telling me I need to update, a never ending cycle. Destroys all my widgets and doesn't seem to go away. What happened? I used to like this ROM.

Im getting the same message but Im wondering if its related to the updated google apps I just installed (new google search, voice search, and chrome to phone).

Rom manager also then tells me my rom isnt set up for ota updates...

I'm just ignoring it. It will be fixed soon enough by one of these awesome developers (or made obsolete by the next version of Lithium??? Dare we hope??)

I wiped my phone, booted into recovery, installed the lithmod zip, installed the slider fix, got back to my phone, and as soon as ROM manager synched, it started to complain about the lithmod update. I simply reflashed recovery, uninstalled ROM manager, booted into recovery, and applied my LV kernel and Watermark'd theme from the SD card. Now I am simply setting up my home screens and email accounts again. I will reinstall ROMmanager tomorrow. Hopefully they will have a fix.

...BUT MY PHONE IS FULLY THEMED, AND THE SLIDER IS PROPERLY CENTERED NOW!!!dancedroid

heeyyy, just one question (great ROM by the way), but where is the slider fix that you mentioned?

Gmail force closest when I open the application. It even force closest at random times like now when typing this post. How do I fix that? Stock theme, droid 1, stock kernel. It force closes most often, it seems when I'm using the internet.

In case anybody else has this problem and gets as much help as I did (which is none) I found the solution. Another person was having problems sending email whereas I just couldn't use the application at all and it would force close at random times. Someone else posted that clearing data fixes it and it worked for me:

Try clearing Gmail data. I had a similar issue where messages would get "stuck" in the outbox.

GoTo: Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Click on the "All" tab > then:

--Find 'Gmail'
--Tap to open 'Gmail'
--Press the 'Clear Data' button

Thank should fix it. Give it a few minutes to re-sync with Google and you should be all set

Chevy lv 1.2ghz caused bootloop. I've used it on all other jrummy roms and bb roms in the past without a problem. Has anyone had luck with chevy? I seem to remember this being a problem weeks ago. Had the issue been resolved?

the p3 kernels in rom manager are only the 2.1 kernels i think here P3Droid Kernels are all of the p3 kernels
