sephtin, When I use the theme generator to install a bar mod it reverts back to the stock theme instead of my current theme. What am I doing wrong? I install the zip via bootstrap/cw. TY

Tis the nature of themes...

To install a "theme" of any sort (which includes what's available on my site...), it REPLACES files. So, when you generate your theme on my site, it creates a framework-res (and any other necessary files to create the options you choose on the site), and packages it up. When you install it, you are replacing the files on your phone.

Another few weeks, when I can include apps with themes on my site, I'll be contacting theme developers to include more of the popular/common themes on the site.. then it'll be easier to do full themes, etc.

anyone here know which thread or link explains about boot animations? i downloaded a couple, placed em into a folder on the SDcard, and went into liberty toolbox but i only saw how to chose between the ones given by liberty. under manage boot animation, do i rename my new animation to "bootanimation.zip" and place in root of SD?

With this rom you need to choose the one you want to use and rename it to bootanimation.zip and place it in the data/ local folder. You will either need to rename the current one or delete it. I usually just rename it with a .bak on the end that way if you want to use it again you still have it

Thx detox... hate to sound like a noob but I'm having trouble finding data/local in either SD or system memory... ill keep looking so long as i know all i have.to do is rename! Thx for the.help!!!

I use root explorer so of you use that just open the app and look for the data folder. Then open the data folder look for the local folder. Open it and you will see the bootanimation.zip. if you use astro I can download it and see if I can find it for you

Installed on my DX 2 days ago with no problems and the only problems since were self-inflicted by overclocking to a setting that was no good.

Helped a buddy install on his D2 during a meeting at work today and got stuck on the liberty screen. After a couple of battery pulls didn't help, I booted to the stock recovery menu and did a wipe/factory reset, rebooted, and it loaded right up.

I debated rooting for a couple of months as a result of only having an HD2 on windows (unstable) prior to my X... I am still amazed at how much better Liberty performs than stock and comparing to the HD2 is a joke. Great job!!! I even downloaded it again from the torrent just to help seed it.

Just type about:debug into the URL and hit go. It'll look like nothing happened, but if you hit menu/more, you'll see advanced options. Go to settings and scroll to the bottom, you can swap the uastring there...
