[ROM] The Eagle Has Landed!!!! - Liberty 1.0 1/11/11

Just read through all 74 pages...wow.
Loving this ROM. I've been on Fission for a long time so I tried out Liberty yesterday and today but I'm having just one issue. The market force closes all the time; even when I'm not in it. I tried clearing data from in app manager and that didn't help.
Went back to my backup of Fission and it works.
Now I did install Liberty over Fission after doing the wipe recommended but should I have gone back to complete stock then to Liberty?

Clearing both the data and the cache on the market app so you get prompted to accept the terms again when you start it cleared up all the issues I was having with the market app.
IMHO... when going from one Developer to another its not a total waste of time too start with a clean slate.
BUT that's just me.
I have zero issues...
I'm guessing you restored some stuff with titanium.
Either way, this is almost always caused by market having data/cache issues. Try clearing it:
Menu> Settings> Applications> Manage applications> all tab> Market>
Force stop, Clear cache, Clear data, try again.
Should resolve it for ya.

Awesome work guys thanks!! Did you get rid of speed dial and it's setup? If so, is there a way to get it back or no?

Still having push notification issues with things like facebook and wordfeud. But they work fine on GummyJar, which is weird...

The framework used for Liberty limits which phone/dialer .apk's that can be used. None of them that currently work on the Liberty framework have built in configuration for speed dial, unfortunately.
There is a work around. Using an app such as:
Speed Dial - Android app on AppBrain
Allows you to use the speed dial app to configure speed dial, then just punch in your speed dial number, and hit dial to dial it (no long presses will work currently, except maybe 1 (voicemail)... which is pre-set I believe).

Ok...I am about 5 minutes away from giving this ROM a run...will be the first I have tried, taking the place of DarkSlide since I have read soooo many great things about Liberty. Now, I am not taking anything away from DS, I was on the verge of going with it...but I hate the idea of having to set my phone back up multiple times, so Liberty gets my "cherry" as far as ROM`ing this time....
Wish me luck...will report back after first boot if I dont screw the pooch...

Exchange Email
I'm having trouble with my school exchange email account. I think I have it narrowed down to a few potential issues:
1) It is the second exchange email account. Does liberty support multiple exchange accounts?
2) The first email account requires the use of a lock screen (and works), but this account does not require administrative protection.
3) The email account that does not work requires that in include the school domain in the username. Ex) Domain\username
When I leave the domain off it doesn't even try to connect, but when I input everything correctly it tries to connect to the email for a while (couple minutes), then says that it cant establish a connection.
Hopefully somebody has input. I've had this email issues in the past on other roms, but updates seemed to fix it somehow.
