[ROM] The Eagle Has Landed!!!! - Liberty 1.0 1/11/11

I just installed the rom this morning and i like it. I do have one question though is there a way to go from 5 to 7 screens?

I'm not aware of a way to increase the number of screens on Launcher2. Most other launchers will let you though. Two popular Launchers are ADW.Launcher, and LauncherPro.

Music Recognized

My music on the sdcard is not showing up in the music player list (nor cubed or any other player). I can go to file manager, find the file and play it that way, but that is terrible. But my videos can be found in the gallery.

Things I've tried:
Cleared cache for the music app and all other music apps. When I started the music app after this it said it scanned the SDcard and found nothing.

On the market I found SDrescan. Didn't help at all.

Installing Liberty, I did wipe data/cache exactly as the instructions said. I followed them exactly.

I'm coming from Rubix Focused 1.9.5 with .320/.340. I'm beginning to think I had the same problem there because I added a new album but I couldn't get the music player to recognize it. I thought it was a codec issue, but now I don't know.

Please help. I use my X for music constantly. Thanks for any suggestions.

Did you try mounting and unmounting sd card? Had same problem with gallery and that fixed it...

Is there a ".nomedia" file in that folder or in any parent folders? Does the media load in something like Winamp?

Best ROM to date.
Only have a minor UI question.
Is there a way to align the information on the lockscreen to center?
Eg: Liberty v1.0 is right aligned (would like it to be centered)
Time and date (etc.) are left aligned (would like it to be centered).
My apologies if this has been answered already.

Thanks,

So I'm wanting to flash my first rom today and thinkin this one, can anyone confirm how it performs with battery life? That seems to be my biggest issue my battery drains often, droid 2. I'm not running much but I am a pretty heavy user mostly internet browsing. I've got set cpu set to on demand 800/300 and removed my weather apps not much else on it. Newly rooted. Input?

Battery life on my X has been great (better than stock) and I have weather apps/widgets running, constantly texting or browsing the internet, and I'm OC'd to 1.2ghz.

Definately worth it!

What bugs were fixed in the 1.0.3 Liberty Toolbox?

I saw that too and wondered the same thing. I have some speculation but it hasn't been confirmed yet, so I won't speculate out loud yet :)

I don't mind speculating.. I'm guessing this was one of them:

I am running the Liberty Rom and I can not download anything from the market. I have tried a few different things and none of them ever download, it just says starting download and then times out. It also doesn't matter if I am on wifi or using the 3g service. I have seen this question asked a few times in this thread but never saw anyone post a solution

I had same problem. From homescreen: Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All > Market > Clear Cache

That fixed it for me.

So I tried that other "rom" for a day and flashed back to liberty and now liberty tools 1.0.3 wont run. Complains about the rom not being liberty. What gives? Did jrummy put in some sort of secret check? But I am on liberty! I'm sorry! I'm back I swear!
