Anyone know what happened to the voicemail app? I can't seem to find it on the app list and when I tried to install visual voicemail it said the system already had one. Thoughts?

If you look in /system/build.prop, there is a line that says:
ro.HorizontalVVM=true

If you remount /system as RW, then change that line in the file to false, then remount as RO again... followed by a reboot, it will let you install from the market.

Thanks; I'll try that but what happened to the one that usually comes with the ROM's? I hate the one from the market. Always had problems with it.

This is my first ROM and I love it!! Wondered about a couple of things.
First does anybody know where I can find the motorola widgets for airplane mode/wifi/gps. And also the visual voicemail app that was on the stock droid 2 rom. The verizon one in the market kinda sucks.
Thanks again for a great ROM!!!!!!!!

As this ROM doesn't use the Blur framework, Pretty sure the moto widgets won't work. Try the powercontrol widget... or the half million widget options on the market... one of them should do the trick. :)

Also, regarding VVM, pretty sure the stock version won't work on blurless framework... so market version is what you're stuck with.
In all honesty? Paying VZW 2.99 per month for voicemail is what sucks. Look into Google Voice. It's totally free, and is way better anyway...
But, if you're stuck with VVM, at least there is the market version.

*Edit: I stand corrected on the widgets.

While using Liberty and syncing my exchange calendar - I am only able to get my "main" calendar. Does anybody know if there is any to have the phone sync ALL exchange calendars while using Liberty?

My music on the sdcard is not showing up in the music player list (nor cubed or any other player). I can go to file manager, find the file and play it that way, but that is terrible. But my videos can be found in the gallery.

Things I've tried:
Cleared cache for the music app and all other music apps. When I started the music app after this it said it scanned the SDcard and found nothing.

On the market I found SDrescan. Didn't help at all.

Installing Liberty, I did wipe data/cache exactly as the instructions said. I followed them exactly.

I'm coming from Rubix Focused 1.9.5 with .320/.340. I'm beginning to think I had the same problem there because I added a new album but I couldn't get the music player to recognize it. I thought it was a codec issue, but now I don't know.

Please help. I use my X for music constantly. Thanks for any suggestions.

Is there a ".nomedia" file in that folder or in any parent folders? Does the media load in something like Winamp?

A .nomedia file was in my music directory. I removed it, cleared cache from my music app, and every thing works. It even recognized my new album, so I'm guessing I've had this problem for awhile and didn't know it. Thanks for your help.

Can you install liberty over darkslide?
You can flash it over any rom, but you MUST wipe cache & data/factory reset. Honestly folks, its all spelled out for you in the OP. What's the big deal about wiping? Between Google & Titanium Backup, you can apps restored in minutes...

I've never used the Liberty boot logo feature. There's a program available which I got from the Market which performs that function, and I've continued to use it since I installed Liberty. It works fine, so I'd guess that the Liberty version would too.

Yes the tool box has a menu with boot logo options. There are eight logo options, however, you can also just install your own boot logo.
