quick question. i installed via instructions on op, but when i restored back to my original Rom with clockwork, i still see the liberty screen flash during start up for a few seconds. how do i check which ROM i am on? I went to Liberty once and flashed back before this try, but i didnt see the logo last time. any help is appreciated. sorry for the noob questions, just new on the android scene. had a storm with hybrid os before...

I have tried to use GPS navigation with every theme in Liberty but cannot get past "Checking Navigation Availability." Any suggestions on how to resolve this? Thank you!

I also flashed back to a backup and still saw the liberty boot animation. I think that file stays what it is, and is not included in a backup. Best thing to do is just restore the stock boot logo before uninstalling Liberty. I am back on Liberty now, and loving every part of it.

Hello Everyone! This is my first post on this forum, but i have been lurking in the shadows for awhile. I was wondering about the zipalign option in Liberty. Is it necessary to do this? I read that apk's are already zipaligned in the rom. If i install a new apk file will it also be zipaligned automatically or do i have to run zipalign? Also, what is the purpose of mounting system rw? If i do need to zipalign, do i have to do that first? Please let me know if i am just wasting my time on that. Somewhat a newb, but getting everything down pretty quick. I have had no issues with Liberty it is amazing. Thanks for helping me out.

Have you wiped market data/cache in settings/applocations/manage applications?

i love this ROM however today it went into airplane mode and would nor come out . i tried using the button on top of the phone and in the settings screen. i would turn it off and it would go right back into airplane mode...

i also noticed random reboots the night before

any ideas?

Here are the toggle widgets just unzip and push thru using terminal


mount the system r/w using Toolbox
then in terminal type

su
cp /sdcard/ToggleWidgets.apk /system/app
sync

and ur done. I just added them as well

Hi, just added the toggle widgets the way you said and i get a problem loading in the widget. Did i miss something, how do i get them to work?

Does anyone know how to get the auto complete dialer back? Using the Linear theme, is it possible to have that with this theme's dialar?

What theme, mods, changes have been made? anything?

this was my 1st rom so i did not change any themes i did change

1) the wall paper to another liberty color
2) i was playinging with the fix permisions setting ( i let it fix permisions)
3) i read a post about deleting battery stats so i tried that too
4) i loaded up the "my net" add on and opened up the hot spot app but i did not connect
5) i also installed throttle hack

i am also using the launcher it came wth

perhaps an app?

i have edmondo kogging app
a timer
bills reminder
boot logo changer
dolphin browser
i also followed the instructions in 1st post to install

i had to restore a backup and the phone worked fine
