No clue what that does.. for silent/vibrate, I just go to the lock screen, and slide the other slider.... much quicker than navigating to the menu.

How do you have your sound set up? Because I only receive 2 options when I slide the other slider. Either Sound/Vibrate or Sound/Silent depending on my settings. I have never been able to set up Sound/Vibrate/Silent

Meh, probably because I use widgetlocker.. which has that option :S

Pretty much everything is default. I've had to bounce between roms/versions lately a bit. :S

Ah well I think I found a widget that will solve my problem. I guess when in doubt - find an app. Thanks for your help though!

Just made the move myself and loving it so far. Not a huge speed change from darkslide but I love all the options. Really miss the menus and graphics from darkslide v4.2 though. Have not found a theme yet that really comes close to all the customization in darkslide v4.2.

No!!

You need to go back to stock .15 via sbf (unless you were smart and have a stock backup) and take the OTA update to .340. Then you can install this ROM.

Just be sure if you use that maderstock zip or whatever the name is, that you follow the instructions exactly.

I decided to take a shortcut and flash that zip, then instead of turn on the phone, let it boot, set minimal stuff up, then go to clockwork to install custom rom, I figured I'd just do the custom rom zip right after the maderstock one without leaving clockwork.

Wow, what a mistake. I booted into bootloader errors. I had to run sbf 4 time before it actually took. Each run got it a little further than the last until finally I was all set.

Ok, truthfully, sbf was probably 2 good attempts. Turned out I had a really old version installed that caused the first few problems.

But maderstock immediately to custom rom gave me bootloader error and almost a heart attack.....

Nope!!! shoulda thought of that coming from a bb storm 1 Blackberry 101 - batt pull...

but i am getting an error when i reboot about unable "the applioation Email (process com.android.email) has stopped unexpectedly please try again", and one about market that happens every so often... i can afterward enter mail and market, its just annoying at boot

Just go to setting - language/keyboard

You shoulder see a checkbox to enable the gingerbread keyboard..

Try radioactive thats the one I found that I like a lot. After coming from Darkslide myself.
