--The Google Search/Voice Search fix is included in the ROM, no need to patch.
--Backup Assistant should work without the patch (as per DRod)

Before you rush to dl and install it... please read the following, ALL of the following:
--This is NOT a new release of rubiX. This is Blurry 0.3 with a few fixes... (listed below).


This version, is rubiX Blurry 0.3, with the follwing changes:
--Fixed to make it work with ROM Manager
--Fix added for Swype FC issue.
--Fix added for Camera (DRod want's to rebuild this for later version, so temporary fix applied).

Also added the following optional packages selectable at install time:
--Search/Voice search patch -- NOT REQUIRED, included in ROM.
--Backup Assistant -- NOT REQUIRED, included in ROM
--Brighter default auto brightness patch option (This is a streamlined version of the patch drod linked in the first post of his rubiX0.3 announcement, UNTESTED, but should work).

Ok even though no one answered my question... haha I figured it out. For some reason my cache and data was unmounted when I was trying to load the rom. I was only mounting "system" just as the directions said. Has this happened to anyone else? I just made sure everything was mounted then everything worked fine. This ROM is the best so far. I have tried the other two and I love Rubix! No lag and super fast! dancedroid

Weird! In Recovery, when you mount system, it mounts data and cache... (from the mounts menu, mounting system causes system, data, and cache to all show the option to "unmount" for me.. ??)

I have the rubiX 0.5 focused and saw the patched release in ROM Manager. I have been having the issues with google search, as so want to install this. However, will have to perform a full wipe, or can I install right on top?

Sorry, I misspoke.

When I go to Bootstrap> reboot to clockwork recovery> mounts and storage>
Data and Cache are already mounted (options are to UNmount for both)...

Which is why I remembered that they were mounted, when I followed the directions, and mounted system. Sorry for the confusion.

Are yours not mounted by default then? or were you manually unmounting them for some reason?

Edit: Also, which version were you installing from SDCard with? the Focused0.5PATCHED? or just 0.5.
If it's patched.. I may have to do some more testing. The install scripts were written and tested specifically through ROM Manager... I don't believe I've even tested them via install from recovery :S

I can add the account, but I believe the other mail application is blur (I just have GMAIL installed). You could probably install the mail app, or use K-9 Mail app from market, or ?

The posts above seem to indicate theses roms work with rom manager for install. Is this accurate? I want to make sure before I jump in, being this isn't the og droid... If not recovery install isn't a big deal either.

Yes this is accurate, at least it worked for me. Coming from a different rom I would do a data/cache wipe before installing, but you shouldn't have a problem on rom manager.

I was actually trying to go back to a back up now and try reinstalling. I actually cant get the back up to take =( Says MD5 mismatch! whatever that means.

That update is for Focused I think tho right? Im using blurry. If I do a factory reset will that take Blurry off my phone so i can start over?

I like the ROM and want to use it but I'm not sure how I should go forward with this. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Blurry is now patched as well. Factory reset won't take it off your phone, and I'm not sure how a factory reset would work because of the bloatware being removed.

Can just install blurry through rom manager, its tested and works.
