I'm crossing my fingers that we will be able to flash v3 over v2 so I don't have to re-alphabetize all my icons on my home screen (for the THIRD time)

I am really liking this rom so far. I used it yesterday all day with no hangups but now I am getting FCs pretty consistently. Did the fixes and all that. Running chevy ulv 1.1

Thoughts?

Edit: The FCs are for the activity launcher. They are occuring after coming out of lock. I did a batt pull (reminds me of my S2 haha) and results are mixed.

Direct Dial?

I think I already know the answer to this but what da heck. I love this ROM and have been using it since day one. Only have two issues. One is I often have lag in redrawing the home screen but I can live with that. The other is what this post was actually about. (so why didn't you just say so?)

Is there any way to get direct dial on the home screens. I miss having this in that I often called work or home directly without having to go into contacts.

Yes, long press home screen to go into edit mode. Hit menu button, Tap Add, tap shortcuts. There should be direct dial/message options.

UPDATE:
Inability to dial *228 has been fixed! You have to flash the Phone.apk from CM6. This DOES NOT remove the stock dialer, but DOES remove some of the options in the call settings menu (the ones you probably weren't using anyway!)

Good question... potentially the phone fix I just posted might negate the necessity to flash over another ROM. Anyone?

(I can test this but not for another hour or so)

If it is indeed the case that this fixes that issue I will add the new phone fix to a second version of the "AllInOneFix" update
