[ROM] Zero Blur! Zero Lag! rubiX Focused 1.0

Is there a, way to get a different gallery? I have never liked this particular model. I tried dl the froyo gallery and it keeps failing. Any help?

Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk

This is the first ROM I've ever installed and it's great. So much faster than stock and I'm glad to be rid of all the Blur.

That being said, is anyone noticing worse battery life than with stock 2.2? I installed this ROM, restored apps using titanium backup and my battery life has been worse than before. I've got watchdog installed. When I first installed the ROM I drained my battery to zero before recharging. The next time I drained it close to zero and charged till 100%. Any suggestions? I can't really see what's taking up all the battery because the battery manager crashes almost everytime I load it (was hoping that was a Blur issue but I guess it's 2.2 in general?). When I have been able to get into the battery manager cell standby does seem to be high...

Any advice or anyone else having this problem?

Can't Reboot into Recovery

Since I installed Rubix 1.0 I cannot boot into recovery from Bootstrapper or Rom Manager. Trying to install the Black Bar. Any one else running into this?

looking in ROM manager currently...there’s a “CHANGE OPTIONS-Focused-1.0” download that says “No wipe” underneath. I’m running focused .5 currently, does this mean I can download this specific Focused 1.0 and not have to wipe my device....?

This may seem like a stupid question, but have you tried reflashing clockwork recovery? may that will help

Yea, but with no luck. Is there a series of buttons to press to boot into it manually like on the Droid 1?

Update: Uninstalled Bootstrapper and reinstalled from the market and works great, thanks for the help.

That's just for additional options like the AOSP 8mp camera and choose which keyboard you would like

s**t. I was really hoping to not have to re-install all my apps, messages, contacts etc...ha guess I’ll just sick with .5 for now. thanks for the response! dancedroid

Ok, I installed the 8mp an d720p camera patch, but the resolution has stayed the same. I compared to pictures before I used a rom and they are smaller.

The video records at 720p and noticed it captures at 26FPS, not 24FPS. Odd as it sounds, those two frames actually help. I still have the initial video I recorded in my office when i got my phone and recorded the same thing just now, its noticibely less choppy.

I'm pretty sure I just discovered what might be causing bad battery life for a couple of users. If not, then in the least I found a bug. When brightness is set to manual, i.e, not set to automatic, the brightness will turn to 100% on a wake of the device, but still show the percentage you last set it at. For example, I set my brightness around 50%. If I let the phone lock itself and then unlock, the screen is wayyy brighter after the unlock. But when I go into the display options, it's still set at 50%. Just touch (don't change the sliders position) the brightness slider and you'll see the brightness return to the value you set.

Nice find but I'm on auto-brightness so I'm not sure why my battery life is bad.

Didn't see this posted yet. I noticed that when you read an e-mail you no longer have the option to move the e-mail to one of your folders in your inbox. Is this true? I tried long pressing the message and it didn't work and the menu button also didn't bring up the option to move the message.

Has anyone else encountered this?

Can anyone comment on this?

You don't have to!

Download Titanium Backup -> Backup apps + data (NO SYSTEM DATA) -> Then install RubiX Focused 1.0 per instructions -> Download Titanium Backup again (on your fresh installation of Focused) -> Restore apps

It's just that easy...contacts and calendar will sync automatically :)
