[ROM] Zero Blur! Zero Lag! rubiX Focused 1.0

Does anyone have a solution/explanation for the unusually high cell phone standby percentage in battery manager? I had mine as high as 72% yesterday. I installed from 0.5 via the instructions, not overclocked, and I'm only using the black bar mod

i have noticed this too. and i am expecting that is why i am getting horrible battery life.

I know people have mentioned reprogramming or turning airplane mode off/on. I tried both, and can't say for sure if it's really helped or not. I'm just wondering if there is an underlying issue/bug on this rom because I had no problems with this on 0.5

My standby thing is at 72% too. No one has a whole lot to say about this. My battery life is horrible now too.

i'm stuck on boot image! i just rooted yesterday. i bootstrapped, made a backup, jrummy oc'd to 1.35, and then i used rom manager to d/l and install rubix focused 1.0.
now i'm stuck in a boot loop and cant get back to clockwork recovery, i can only get to the stock recovery.
help please! i just need to get to clockwork
As suggested, first thing to try is wipe data/cache. if that's not it, then you'll probably be .sbf'ing
Edit: OH, and when setting up overclocking, never (and I mean N.E.V.E.R. set it to stick on a reboot.... Until you have a LOT of testing done to confirm that it's COMPLETELY stable...). Not saying you have done this, but if you have.. then.. well, probaly .sbf'ing to fix it.

will i still be rooted if i use the factory reset on the stock recovery?
Yes. Factory Reset (wiping data/cache) won't affect root, which is all on /system

also i didn't even think about being deodexed. i used the super one click

When you deodex, it changes files on system. When you install a ROM, /system is general formatted, so .. any deodexing before installation of a ROM is irrelevant. And since Focused IS deodexed already, no need to do it again.

Hope that helps!

Edit: Wow, late to the party. Glad things are working. ; )

Sorry if this has been mentioned and/or covered, keeping up with the thread fairly well but Im sure Ive missed a few things.....

Anyways, in my gallery Ive got a bunch of "drawable" folders, have no idea how to get rid of them.

Drawable? Hmm, drawing a blank. Anything in them? I'm guessing an app, or .. something put images on your SDCard, and it's picking them up?

There's a way to keep the gallery from showing folders that have images in them, iirc, you put a file named .nomedia in the directory, and gallery will ignore them (?).

I have some other ideas.. but first, would like to know more about what exactly is happening.. :S

Gallery doesnt run very smooth and looks like this....I have these inside the app/ folder:

Gallery3dGoogle.apk
Gallery3DMT.apk
MediaGallery.apk

Dont know if that makes a difference or is normal.

PS- Cant find where it may be pulling these images from. Im usually pretty good about knocking out little issues like this, but this one has me stumped.

Ahh, makes a TON more sense now!!!! Did you load a notification bar mod recently? Or add a theme?

Oh great, Ive got the Gala X theme loaded....is that causing the issue? I know the theme wasnt meant for this ROM but "thought" it was fine.

Here's what I think is happening...

Those folders, are part of a framework file, called framework-res.apk. Someone unzipped them, and forgot to get rid of them before packagng the theme up.

That's the start.. the second part, is that all themes replace lots of applications, framework, etc. on your install. You *might* be ok, but if you read the second post of this thread... you'll get the idea.

Edit: Can you send me a link to where you dl'd the theme?
