I loaded Rubix back up, went out to the truck to refresh my memory why it wouldn't work, and this time it did.

dont know if this is the rom or what. but im using the sms app that came with the rom. i have launcher pro set to show if i have a unread message on my dock. when i get a sms usually slide the notification bar down and click on it that way to read. after i back out i see it stills shows i have an unread. any1 else?

I downloaded the zip and I get an error on install. I get the same error when I try to install via rom manager, sometimes it get stuck on the M. Any suggestions?

I am also having the problem with setting ringtones for individuals. I have tried the factory ringtones and the ones I have made or downloaded. Some will work, some will not. There does not seem to be any similarity in the ones that will or will not work. They are all different file sizes and different extensions. I downloaded the version through Rom manager first and had the problem and then I downloaded the zip file from the site to see if that made a difference. Getting the same result either way. I tried the ringdroid trick and I am getting the same results with some working and some not. I do really like the rom and the speed that it is capable of, but I had to uninstall it due to needing the different ringtones for my contacts to separate personal and work phone calls.

When you save a ringtone in ringdroid it ask if you want to assign it to a contact to keep from going into the contact list and doing it. I forgot to mention in my previous post I was not running a theme on it when I was trying the ringtones

The error would be helpful..

But from what you describe, I have to guess the download didn't complete correctly... corrupt file?
My best guess with what info given, is to try downloading again?

Yeah, it happens sometimes. If you don't launch your Text app via the dock icon it wont clear sometimes. Why the redundancy though? If you have notifications on the bar, why do you need them in the drop down as well? Just my .02 :icon_ banana:

There is definitely some kind of battery drain issue with this ROM. Whether its the cell standby issue (which was in the high 70s for me) or something else, its definitely present. I really wanted to stick with this ROM because of the speed but I have switched back to stock minus some bloat and battery life is back to normal (which is very good). Hopefully the issue can be addressed and resolved in a future release.

I wouldnt necessarily say this ROM has a battery issue, cause ALOT of people are running it with no issues at all.

I have been running it since .5 was released and now since 1.0 was released, also running overclocked medium voltage @ 1.45ghz....

My battery life is FANTASTIC.

But everyone's mileage is going to vary and battery life is dependent on alot of things.

I disagree. I have been running it for two weeks now. My battery was at 40% at the end of most days with the 2.2 OTA. My battery now is usually 60% at the end of most days.
