[ROM] Zero Blur! Zero Lag! rubiX Focused 1.0

definitely something different in this ROM that is causing battery drain. I have hacked this droid x to hell and back, tried just about every rom out there- rubix 1.0 doesn't like my device.... battery killed

The cell standbye thing is a bug and not to be taken literally. If you couldn't gather already, the display and cell standbys stats should be switched.

You could also say "wow, with Rubix, my display uses hardly any battery at all!"

my display usage has never been as high as 72%.

i don't claim to know what the reason for the short battery life, i just know its there after extensive troubleshooting. stock is much better FOR ME.

How long is your battery lasting you though...compared to stock. I mean in hours per day with normal usage.

The battery statistics IMO dont mean squat. Mine are always reading high, however I get anywhere from 14-18 hours battery life with the extended battery, better than with the stock ROM. But thats my experience.

I got about 8-11 hours with rubix. I get about 20-30 with stock.

So....not sure if this has been mentioned before, but....

Where is the FM Radio?

Thats a blur feature, this is a blurless ROM. Its been asked few times in the thread.

Awesome...thanks for the quick response. Well then...I guess there needs to be a simple list out there of features that go away when switching to a blurless rom.

Yeah I would think there is a list somewhere already given the blur vs blurless.
I'd like to find it as well but haven't as of yet.

Thanks

Moto Blur is all the "stuff" that Motorola adds to the Android system thats not part of the bone stock OS you would find on ANY android phone. Or edits to apps like phone or the sms app. But any bloatware or extra features like the radio app would be part of blur on the X, if that makes sense.

Ya, a list of what is included in blur would be handy... Please?

I know its everything that moto added, but I never have used stock android, so I don't know what's what.

How does one sync contacts with facebook with out blur?

Sent from my DROIDX using DroidForums App

Install the Facebook app via market, select sync with exisiting contacts or all contacts when you install it.

SBF to stock 2.2 and start over. Something happened during the install, that or you have some apps that dont play nice with rubiX. My battery life is much better on this ROM vs 2.2 OTA.

Can't edit posts from app, sorry for double post...

Is there anything I can do to install a while clean rom (rubix) and also not lose all my text messages, apps and settings?
