So does the different baseband make any difference on battery life for different ROMs? I can't imagine it would be that much of a difference, but then again I don't really understand what the baseband is.

I know nothing about it either, just wondered if it had anything to do with the cell radio?

havent got to try it yet but past custom roms have not worked fully with my ford sync, like the texting function. does that work in this rom? if not what would i need to add to make it work? or is that blur...

This rom is awesome, but I would love to have the option to install the Multi-Touch keyboard rather than the stock android keyboard. I know this is supposed to be AOSP, but the MT Keyboard is smoother for me.

Can you confirm if you still have root? Use terminal emulator and type su and see if you get # prompt. You may need to route again.

I haven't checked via terminal, but i still have root access on all other apps (Bootstrap, ROM Manager, OC app) so I am fairly sure that I still have SU

Individual ringtones for contacts is still broken in this release.
In fact, the list of known issues for 1.0, minus a few, are still there. More info here:

Interesting... I use Mabilo Ringtones and definitely have a seperate default ringtone and individual ringtone for my girlfriend...

Insert bad "I use xyz ringtone for her..." joke here...

Seriously though, There have been reports that RingDroid, or other ringtone apps work for setting custom ringtones...

Not sure which kbd is the multitouch... :S I get them all mixed up, I only use swype anyway.. :S

I've tried a few times to install the Blur Gallery patch, but no matter what I do, the app doesn't appear in my app drawer. The mediagallery.apk is definitely in system/apps, and it has the correct permissions. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Installed 1.6 at 60% battery. When it was done I was at 80%. Wasn't on the charger. What gives lol?

For those that might be experiencing battery drain try the app Watchdog, it will let you know if you have a runaway app that is eating your battery.

Blur Gallery will not work with this. The gallery from fission is as close as it gets.

In other news, I made a big breakthrough on HDMI last night, I CAN confirm it's not working, even with real HDMI. Give me a few days guys, and I should have it fixed, whether my own custom way, real hdmi, in gallery, or all of the above
