Also in other words, There's no way to load into CW w/DX unless its thru RM or Bootsrap huh? I mis my D1 already.

It took this issue for me to finally understand what all the ranting and raving was about regarding Bootloader lockdown for DX. Thanks for nothing MOTO but Thanks a MILL Seph..Good night all

1. I added the basic calendar widget to the home screen. I can't get it to go away. it won't drag with a long press.

2. what is the agenda calendar widget you show on your home page?

1) Weird, I can't recreate this. :S Issue persists through a reboot?
2) I have Jorte (set to sync with my Google Calendar.. very powerful app)

use root explorer to uninstall the calendar from system apps

OR

reset ADW (last option in adw settings), and this might clear it away, but if that works then it will clear away everything on all your screens and you'll have to reconfigure it the way you want it

i also use jorte but i use agenda 4x2 and modded colors to match black juice, along with 25% transparency... looks sick

Is anyone else on this rom synced to corporate exchange? On the stock froyo the contacts search would extend into the global list (GAL). With the focused, its just the local contacts list.

I have had both fission 2.2.1 and RubiX and to be honest fission was much more stable and smoother but it was too bland for me. I saw the cube animated and could not resist the switch AHAHA I mean it was exactly what I was looking for not bland, but the tradeoff is it is not as smooth as fission. I am not ReFormatting my phone RubiX it is!

You switched for the boot animation huh? I guess to each his own, I use whatever ROM works best on my phone overall. Which happens to be Focused.

I probably reboot my phone once a week so I never see the animation anyways :icon_eek:

1.8.9 installed

I just recently rooted my DX and, I know that I've had this problem before with a rooted droidx, but when I connect it to the computer, it's not being recognized. I'm using the same computer that I used for rooting so the drivers are fine. I've rebooted both phone and computer with no results. I'd hate to go back to stock any ideas?

1) This has been answered a few times before. You're fine... the ROM doesn't have the updated version number in the build.prop file.
2) First thing to try is to reboot both phone and computer, and make sure computer has the most updated USB drivers.
Others have reported this issue with varying success getting it working again.. Honestly, wish I had paid closer attention to what's happening with this.

2. I rebooted both the phone and my computer and I went to motorolla's website to get that motoconnect thing. Phone still doesn't show up when I connect it

Do you have winamp installed? by some strange chance?
(or was that the issue, where no matter what, it mounts USB.. *sigh*.. again, sorry, I need to go through a few threads, and put together some info on this one. :S

Nah no winamp. I use doubletwist for media syncing if that helps

for those who want the OLD Transitions back without applying a theme:

this worked for me....i downloaded both 1.8.6 and 1.8.9. then i copied the framework from 1.8.6 and overwrote (pasted) the framework in the 1.8.9 zip file. i then reflashed 1.8.9 on my phone without a wipe. now i have the old transitions working with launcher pro

Ok guys..here is a question...underclocked/undervolted my phone last night to ULV 900 using Jrummys new app....worked great but am not seeing a battery improvement like I would have expected....reset battery stats after all night charge and this morning used the phone for a couple text messages, about an hour and half chat on Gtalk...battery shows 80% which is about 10% per hour....screen is the dimmest it will go......any suggestions? Just seems it should be better....

Actually, I wouldn't do a fresh install yet... I'd give it a couple days. I noticed that on the first day on 1.8.6 and 1.8.9 I saw about 10% an hour drain following a battery stats wipe... but on the second day on 1.8.6 I got 24 hours of battery. So far I'm on around 12 hours or so and at 70% today, which is day 2 on 1.8.9. Just be patient
