Okay, I tried to install black juice green, and all that happens is it boots into recovery and then it shows the android with a triangle ! and then it reboots..

Did you use the droid x bootstrapper app to get to recovery?

Due to the locked bootloader, stock recovery won't let you do anything. You need the bootstrapper app to give you custom recovery.

Ok did you Bootstrap Recovery then Reboot Recovery into Clockmod?
Then you need to wipe the cache an install via sdcard and reboot.

So after changing the line in that file in system/etc to = 25, few hours later and yes I still got the slowdown/lag. At first I could tell with just general scrolling though screens and apps. But then I tested browser and it lagged bad. After rebooting, browser is back to lightning fast....

I didn't experience this (not that I noticed) my first day w this rom. But second day (today), was pretty bad, having to reboot 4 times to fix this slowdown.

Anyways, dunno how widescale this problem is but just thought I should throw it out there..

newbie question

so i just rooted my X last week using the z4 root app. I downloaded the DX bootstrap recovery app and made my first backup now im trying to find a ROM to load and this one looks good. I just wanted to know what the mirrored file was is that just another place to get it or do i need both files? I downloaded both on my computer and they are the exact same size. Any help for a new ROOTer would be awsome thanks dancedroid

Okay, try going up to 50. Stock is 100 so you could even go back to that if you want. I'm just trying to get you at the lowest value that doesn't cause lag for you.

Im running 1.9.3 and its awesome, ive been using rubix since I got my X and u never let me down. I was wondering if there was a Blur Camera/Gallery, and Lockscreen Music Mod available for 1.9.3, or will the 1.8.6 ones work? I also have noticed that after running this rom for about a day, I have received the lockscreen soft reboot.

Camera-yes
Gallery- Don't believe so.. if anyone finds an alternative gallery that works, please let me know.
Music- I've not tested, thought I heard that the blur music app didn't work (?).

Welcome and...
First yes they are the same file mirrors are posted to increase download speeds by reducing the pull on one link
Second I suggest just downloading roms directly onto your phone the android family of phones is pretty good about downloading zip files (rare occasions when it slaps you in the face and tells you dl unsuccessful) directly
Personally I try to use my pc as little as possible when messing with my phone root exolorer is one of the keys to that

Ok so I just came back to Focused 1.8.9 a few days ago and I didn't want to post anything about my battery issues cause I know its normal. But has anyone had any issues with charging a phone all night and waking up only say it is at 20% when you know for a fact that it was at 40% when you plugged it in?

This sounds to me like you are plugging it into a usb port in a computer that doesn't have the proper drivers, or a laptop that went into sleep mode that doesn't support usb sleep and charge.

Nope it was plugged into the wall charger.
