rubiX Focused 1.8.9/1.9.3

Fyi there is a new version of ADW. If you want to use it instead of the packaged version, download it and rename system/app/ADW.Launcher.apk to something else.

I played with the pre-release of the new ADW a few days ago but it mangled the transition animations so I uninstalled it. Hopefully the release version is better...

Are you sure it works on 1.9.3. i just installed that zip and my phone will go from Moto M to black screen back to Moto M then to clockwork

... crap. I'm not sure if the framework .lib file that it puts back will work with 1.9.3. :( Works great with 1.8.9.

I don't have the leak (not worth the risks imho), so I have no way to test. If you say it doens't work, I'll take your word on it. :(

Humungus, Im experiencing the exact same battery drain as you. ksoftirqd is using alot of CPU time. Im on 1.8.9 coming from 1.8.6. I installed and wiped only cache. Everything is very snappy. The only down side being my battery life now. I considered wiping data and cache as I usually have but others have reported getting bad battery regardless of whether they wipe or not. Any idea of how this can be fixed?

I wonder.
If you're getting bad battery on 1.8.9, anyone willing to load 1.8.6 for a couple days, and confirm that it's better there, and/or whether the readings you get with systempanel are the same?

This is by far the best one yet. So fast and the transitions are cool as hell.

I may go back to 1.8.6. I have a few backups so maybe next week I will try it. I can definitely see a battery drain difference but if its not being used, my battery will last forever on this rom.

And on another note... Anyone on 1.9.3 that's feeling adventurous... O.o

:)

The 2.2.1 Multi-Touch keyboard, and the associated framework are here:
http://www.sephtin.com/rubiX/rubixFocused-Patch-DX2.2.1-MultitouchKBD.zip

If someone wants to give it a try.

(The keyboard patches are the keyboard .apk, and .lib file, both within /system... so the /system .sbf should be a good safety net..

on 1.9.3. I dont use that keyboard but i always install bigdx's themed swype from 2.2 ota simply by overwriting the original swype app in /system/app and change permissions to read/write for user and just read for group and others. All done within root explorer. no issues whatsoever.

Dunno if that multitouchKBD.zip works any different tho

I've been looking for a good Swype skin. Do you have a link or can you share an .apk?

I'm off to digest some more turkey....
