Hey Juicemane, any word on balckjuice for 1.9.3

Check my sig, I would assume the framework from 1.8.9 and 1.9.3 are the same? Any input Drod?

I am with you on the same framework thing bt I would rather wait for drod to comment on this. I blv its gonna take out the new animations thats all but that doesnt matter to me coz I keep'em off

I was just going to post this. New transitions work fine with ADW, but get mangled with Launcher Pro.

Hopefully we can either get a fix or a .zip to flash back to the stock animations.

I guess we know which launcher Drod and his testers run Why do devs always run ADW? I've tried to convert probably 5 times but keep going back to LP for some reason or another. I'll use this as an excuse to give ADW another try, but I suspect I'll be back with LP before too long.

haha idk why they do. they are both well made, i just always end up going back to launcher pro...

transitions should be an easy fix tho. a .zip would be nice

So I've been running 1.8.6 flawlessly and with pretty darn battery life. Best DX Rom out there IMO. Thanks for all the work Drod and company.

Little to no bug fixes in this version. Mostly for battery life and performance tweaks

I am asking because I have the phone set pretty much perfect right now and if the tweaks are small I am going to wait for future updates.

Got 1.9.3 up and running BlackJuice, milestone app and oc to 1.3LV, also themed LP to match BlackJuice Blue. Voice search works which didn't in Blurry 2.3.320. Life is good so far, nice job guys.

If you never loaded the leak, I'm thinking you should be fine with 1.8.9...it's definitely high quality work! you should notice a great battery improvement as well, I went from 1.6 to 1.8.6 wiping only cache, saw large battery improvement, and then from 1.8.6 to 1.8.9 only wiping cache as well, and haven't had time to see if battery life improved further, but it still seems great...and I've had no issues that I can think of offhand...phone is super speedy, and I have not OC'd...

Installed over 1.8.6 with just cache wipe. System number still says 1.8.6, dunno if that was suppose to change. Good work though, running great.

The version number is a line that drod didn't change in build.prop. If you installed it, you are fine. It is normal.

Any theme that is for version 1.6, or 1.8.6 will remove the transitions change.

1.6 framework still include the centered text on the lock screen.
1.8.6 framework changed the alignment of that text.
1.8.9 framework added transitions, and kept alignment off center.

Take your pick, those are the ONLY differences in framework which is used by themes.

But short version as to why I prefer ADW.. it's lighter, and for the most part faster... but it's OPEN SOURCE. LPP is CLOSED SOURCE... which in my book is TOTALLY enough to keep me away when there are open alternatives!

this may be a stupid question as the answer is most likely "thats a blur feature" but with focused is there anyway to set custom ringtones for individuals?

Any theme that replaces the framework (which is all of them... any blackbar mod, theme, anything). So if you use LPP, or don't like the transitions, just grab a theme that's based on 1.8.6 or 1.6 (if you prefer the text centered)...
