I love Rubix but am having the nonfunctioning camcorder issue. I downloaded the blur camera zip and loaded that....

The camera works fine, the camcorder opens and the screen works fine but it FC's as soon as I hit record

I have cleared data/cache. I did a full wipe/reset when I installed and I was coming from .340.

I didn't use Ti backup to restore anything, so I'm kind of at a lose as to what the issue is

Ok, today my battery life has been the best I've ever had. Usually with moderate to heavy use I'd be at about 15% to charging already by 5pm. I'm at 50% right now. Close to or more than 100 texts, 2+ hrs of talk time, DF forums, web browsing and of course a good bit of $0.99 NFS Shift! Ok I do have an extend battery too (BH6X) but it and 1.9.5 make a great combo.

Still not having any luck with my battery..
I let it go to 0% this morning, and charged it while it was off until 100%. Then I turned it on and unplugged my charger.
I'm at 3 hours and it's at 60% already.
Goshhhhh I wonder what is wrong?!

If you haven't done so, go into recovery and wipe the battery stats. Drain battery down to zero one more time and leave off until fully charged. I had to do it at least twice before I noticed any difference after a new battery and/or new rom (1.9.5). Best wishes.

If you go to:
Menu> Settings> About Phone...
What does it say for Kernel Version (the whole thing, with the letters up to the @ symbol)?

Mine did the exact same thing fresh out of the box. Haven't run into that since I first rooted my DX. IDK bro. I'm sure Seph or Ink will chime in with some good advice.

I found a slight fix....it works just fine in D1(720x480) but it always force closes in HD. Oh well, I am fine with that for now.

You could clear everything (data/cache) and run stock for a couple days, see if it persists, could be a battery issue. I have been unplugged for 14 hours and am at 70% with the extended battery

Seph, for the .340 patches, does an ota update do anything or should I use tbh patches from the link above.

Here is what I did, went from original to .340 ota update to runic 1.9.0 to your patch for. 340 and then rubix 1.9.5 yesterday.

Am I good? I just don't want to have to redo everything

I made the framework-res.apk file and a clockwork backup, but I still don't have the gonads to do it.
If I mess up the framework, I won't even get a chance to boot in clockwork to restore the last backup?

Answered a few pages back, goto sephtin.com and install a patch to replace that keyboard

By 5pm I was at 50% with no calls, 2 txts and 1 clockwork backup.
I let the battery drain completely last nite, have cleared batt stats from a full charge, and I'm even underclocked at 800mhz lv.
Either I have an app sucking up my batt or the underclocking is not working...

Hello everyone I installed Rubix 1.9.5 per the instructions on the first post and I'm getting a boot loop. Can anyone help me please to get this back in working order. Ive already bricked my phone and was lucky enough to have verizon replace it. i dont want to do it again. thanks in advance.

1.- were you on the OTA (.340) or on the TBH patches (the path to .340)?
2.- when you installed Rubix, did you clear data and cache?

You could try getting on the bootloader and clearing data and cache from there.

I was on the ota .340 and also i know how to get on the boot loader but how do i clear data and cache from there?

After I sbf'ed back to stock to get the last update, I got into a bootloop (apparently, that's normal because you still have the old cache and data). This is what I did to get out of the loop. May wanna wait for confirmation from someone knowledgeable in the subject before you try this. I did this after SBF'ing and I am not certain it may work in your case since you just flashed a ROM.

Power phone off, remove battery, reinsert battery and reboot in recovery: Press power button+ search and release power button as soon as you see the moto logo.
Wipe EVERYTHING -factory reset.
Power off, remove battery, reinsert batt and power on.​
