Doh, just noticed there is still no tun kernel module included. Any chance this can be added in future release or maybe droid2169 could compile the kernel with config_tun turned on and provide us with /system/lib/modules/tun.ko?

In the mean time, anyone know of a working tun.ko for this build?

i get the same from clockwork recovery, but the 2 times I've used moto's recovery, it's been ok.

akiles thank you so much for your help! i figured it out! i sbf'd the 2.3.340 sbf found on droid-life flashed it using rsd lite bit my nails and peed in my pants a little while i waited and woo hoo it rebooted and worked. again thanks for your help

When I call into a 1-888, 800, 866 or any automated system that requires me to enter my phone number the touchpad does not register the key presses and fails every time. This happens on Focused and FISSION but does not happen on STOCK or Apex? Anyone got any thoughts?

yeah definitely a real problem..just cant get a handle on it since its only on these two ROMS which i love? ANG over at Team DeFuse cleared the issue as fixed but it dtill exists in his ROM as well..when i so the new focused was out i was stoked but still exists here too

I just tried this. I called my office's voice mail that requires to enter my inbox number followed by # and password followed by #.
It only registered the #.

I tried several times, and same result. I tried one last time, entering the numbers a little slower and it worked.

You could also try sending automated key presses. So, in my case assuming that my voice mail number is 000-000-0000, inbox number is 0001 and my password 0000:

0000000000,,,0001#,0000#

If you hold down the "*#(" key (lower left corner) it will show you the options to insert a pause or a wait.

Is anyone able to change their boot animation? I tried install them from zips (both unmounted and mounted systems) and manually replacing bootanimation.zip in /system/media but the default rubiX one always shows up.

It seems to be rewriting the boot animation back every time when I use Root Explorer. I would rename the old bootanimation.zip, paste in the new bootanimation.zip and it wouldn't work so I tried to delete the renamed bootanimation.zip but it would come back instantly. The only way it wouldn't be brought back was if I mounted the system R/O right after deleting the renamed file.

Yeah I changed mine. Don't change it in system/ media. Change it in data/ local. You should see bootanimation.zip there

Ok, today my battery life has been the best I've ever had. Usually with moderate to heavy use I'd be at about 15% to charging already by 5pm. I'm at 50% right now. Close to or more than 100 texts, 2+ hrs of talk time, DF forums, web browsing and of course a good bit of $0.99 NFS Shift! Ok I do have an extend battery too (BH6X) but it and 1.9.5 make a great combo.

Still not having any luck with my battery..
I let it go to 0% this morning, and charged it while it was off until 100%. Then I turned it on and unplugged my charger.
I'm at 3 hours and it's at 60% already.
Goshhhhh I wonder what is wrong?!

You could clear everything (data/cache) and run stock for a couple days, see if it persists, could be a battery issue. I have been unplugged for 14 hours and am at 70% with the extended battery

7 hours and I'm at 30%. I didn't even do anything on my phone today too.
0 phone calls, 0 text, just a few apps here and there.
I also notice my Display is taking up 50% of the battery consumption; I have it on auto brightness and 15 second screen time out.
I might just try your advice, just to see if it is the battery.
But OMG I hate stock, it is so laggy and slow.
I'm leaning more towards buying a new battery; maybe the extended battery.
But is the extended battery bigger? Would I need to buy a new back cover for it? And my case too?
