rubiX Focused 1.9.5

Yeah, I'm glad I can see them now. They load up instantly. Aside from what I've had to do this rom is amazing. Its blazing fast and battery life is awesome!! Available ram stays anywhere from 190-250 MB. Its freaking awesome! I'm oc'd at 1.15 ghz using milestone.

One other small issue I noticed on this rom is the compass. I was in google maps and noticed that the phone thought I was facing a direction I definitely wasn't. If anyone knows how to calibrate the compass with this rom, that would be very helpful.

I just tried looking but I couldn't find anything on configuring it. I'll keep looking though.

Does anyone know if there is an issue sending/receiving MMS? So far any rom that ive used that doesn't use the blurred text messaging app fails to send/receive MMS. I'm on Gummyjar 2.1 now and still have this issue, was gonna make the switch but I figured I would ask first. Is there anyway around it? or is this not an issue with this rom?

Grab "Analog Compass" from the market. It has a Calibrate Compass function. :)
 
Given the holiday its really great you took the time to put this rom together. Thank you very much and I must say its your best version yet on my phone.
 
Keyboard keeps fc'ing. Gonna try to fix the permissions on Rom Manager. If that doesn't work, I'm just going to do a fresh install then install the keyboard.

anyone know why voice search keeps force closing even though i took all the steps i needed to take to stop the FCing? lol this was happening in apex for me as well. and i do have voice seach installed from market.

I'm guessing you installed apps and/or data via titanium?
(common issue that comes with restoring apps/data... but can happen from other things too...)

Fix for misc. apps FC'ing is usually just to wipe data/cache for that app:
Menu> Settings> Applications> Manage Applications> all tab> (the offending application):
Force stop, Clear cache, Clear data, then try what you were doing again...
Usually works. :P

Also, Focused 1.9.5 installs several apps (that CAN be upgraded via market) as part of it's installation... Voice Search is one of them. So, if you go into market, it should have seen that you already had Voice Search installed... and if you restored from backup, as mentioned above, it probably wasn't happy with you.. either way, it should have already been there on a fresh install...
 
finally got a good DL for this cause my second try was unsuccessful as the first. But got it on the third an its amazing, DroD has once again out done himself. Thanx again DroD
