Ya know.. I had that too.. I think it had something to do with Titanium restore.. (Did you restore anything from titanium??)...

I'd wipe and reinstall, then verify it's gone.. it should be...

minfree is set way too low on the liberty roms. that could cause some stability issues.

? minfree what? shouldn't this be in liberty thread?

Sorry I'm responding to Droid74 above. Liberty ships with 25MB minfree, your ROM ships with i believe something close to 80MB minfree.

So on Liberty, the apps are running with very little headroom and if a single app misbehaves your phone can go kaput. I did post something in the liberty thread but anything you post there gets lost very quickly. :)

3g hotspot

Anyone know for sure that we won't get charged on our verizon bill for using 3g hotspot? it seems like it's the exact hotspot app... i'm a beginner and would really appreciate a response

Dont worry Verizon wouldnt let you use it unless you pay them for it

Less than 24 hours on Liberty 1.5 I'm back. I don't think there is a rom out there that can touch RubiX Focused in speed and responsiveness. Liberty has some damn fine bells and whistles with the toolbox but I still found myself planning the Rubix restore a couple hours in. Drod, you are still the x king bro.

I was going to install Liberty 1.5 tomorrow at work and then give it a shot but I'm not having any issues with 1.9.7 so I think I'll stay here. Drod kicks ass with this ROM.

Anyone getting force closes when selecting text in gmail and/or talk?

Happening to me after trying to select text, missing what I wanted, and trying again. Kinda weird.

Edit: nevermind, turned out to be my overclock settings..

sweet, now I don't have to try it this weekend, but I probably still will...

Drod, Is there any way to put back in the lockscreen timer? And/or get the pattern lock to show up after the normal slide or rotary lock?

I'm not necessarily asking for it to be built into rubix, but if you have some insight as to where I can start digging to mod it myself, that'd be great. If I do ever figure it out, I'll share a "patch" anyone who wants it.

I'm currently on rubix 1.8.6 running system version 2.3.20. Rubix is great and runs smooth/fast. But I get at least 3 random reboots a day. Not sure if it's a program causing it or what. Good thing is the restart doesn't take long but it's getting annoying.

Should I do an update to 2.3.34 and try out rubix 1.9.7. I'm just too lazy to do it right now. But if I knew it'll get rid of the reboots, I'll definitely upgrade.

If I were you personally I would ditch the leak 320 and update to 2.3.340 OTA using the maderstock340.zip. This will give you a clean unrooted 340 rom the use z4root and bootstrap. Then give the new focused or blurry a shot. I find .340 to be a much more stable OS. No reboots for me on 1.9.7.
