Seidio Case

Thumbs up to Seidio again over here. I'm pretty sure I had the second Seidio case on the forum here, and never really noticed until recently that I was missing the cutout for the noise cancelling mic on the back. I called up, spoke to a human, gave my order number, and had a new one in the mail within a week. The whole case, not just the back.

Easiest experience of my life, and now I can use speakerphone again!
 
it's easier to pass blame than accept it... would have made better sense if seidio just admitted that sometimes their product is faulty and they're working to refine it, rather than blame motorola.

Not true. I had two droids (purchased at different times) and two cases. On one both top cases would go on perfectly, but on the other droid I tried and tried with both cases and never could get it to work. Bizarre.

I don't think either Seidio or Motorola are to "blame" or anything is faulty.

if neither are to blame then maybe seidio shouldn't blame motorola for their cases not fitting correctly. wouldn't that be what you're suggesting?

also if replacement cases fit, but the original didn't then that suggests (to me at least) that it was the case that change and not the phone. or am i missing something?

btw my blue innocase rawks! :)
 
I received the new top cover today and I'm glad to say that it fits perfectly. The tabs on the bottom of the new one are significantly longer than the previous ones they've sent. It went on easily and fits securely.

It was a long process and there was too much finger-pointing, but in the end, I'm very happy with the case and highly recommend it now that these fit issues have been resolved. Good job by Seidio to finally get it right.
 
Just wanted to say how great Seidio has been. Ordered the blue case which with my luck got one that the top would'nt fit. I contacted them and was told I would get the new top of the case when it was available. That was about a week ago and I just got the replacement top today. Put it on and it snapped on right away. Fits perfectly. I know some people have been a little put off by their product not fitting all droids but you cant say anything bad about their customer service. If you have any problems they will work with you untill it is fixed. If for some reason it cant be fixed they will refund you your money. Not only that they come on this forum and have answered me immediately when ever I message them. So if your thinking about getting one, do it the case is awesome. I also got the seidio car mount and its amazing. A little pricey but well worth the money. If anyone wants me to do a review on it let me know and I will take pics from every angle and what comes in the box and post them later. Not sure if someone has already done that. All right Im done rambling.

I can only hope now my burgundy top fits and have no issues.

We are currently fulfilling the replacement requests now only. Like mentioned before, the fitting issue is only with a very small number of Droid out there. So you should be fine! :)

Seidio's customer service hasn't been all it's cracked up to be for me. I finally received the replacement top I originally ordered on 1/12. The papers in the box had the 1/12 date on it, but it wasn't shipped until 2/8. Luckily it fits and I'm very content with the case now that it works.

I first contacted them on 1/12 over the phone about the defective case, and the guy said that a replacement top would be shipped out to me as soon as possible. I contacted their support a second time sometime in late January after not receiving a replacement, and they said nothing about the replacement order on 1/12. They couldn't see anything under my name, so I was told that my replacement case would be shipped once the revised cases arrived.

Then after another couple of weeks of waiting, I contacted them a 3rd time on 2/9 and again I was told there was no record of any of my replacement orders and that nothing was ever filled out. The woman named Rachel was actually very helpful and said that she would personally fill out the RMA form and have the replacement shipped out asap. 1 day later the replacement case arrived, the one I originally ordered on 1/12!

Now there's something wrong here, and I hope I don't receive 2 more replacement tops. Although I enjoy the case I have on my phone now, I would not recommend Seidio to any of my friends or family.

Buyers beware.

well, I just got an email from Seidio saying my case is on backorder.
I wish websites wouldn't advertise something as "available" and then have it be on backorder.:icon_ cry:
 
I have been using the seido case for about 2 months now. (great case) However, I took it off and the stock phone feels sooooo much different. I actually am not using the case at all and loving how the phone feels. However, I will be putting the case right back on whenever I have some "adult beverages" Awesome case though best one out there I feel

What I'm saying is that both tops would work on one Droid, but not on the other Droid. Obviously there is a minor difference between the Droids.

Got my replacement top today and it works great on the second Droid. Thanks Seidio!
 
Just wanted to share my experience with Seidio and their products for everyone to see. I ordered the original black case and 3 screen protectors, all of which arrived extremely quick. The screen protectors are the best I've seen anywhere, you can't even tell it's on there. The only problem was that the top half of the case didn't not stay on what so ever.

So I pm'd the Seidio rep on this site and he was quick to send me another case. I received another entire case with the redesigned back portion (no more silver lettering, etc.) but the top part of the case STILL didn't fit. So by this point I was pretty annoyed and pm'd the Seidio rep again. I told him that I didn't think sending another case would fix it and he just said he would send another case anyways.

A few weeks went by and I didn't get another case. I pm'd the Seidio rep again and he responded saying that they did have a few problems with the top portion of the cases and that they had resigned it. He went on to say that I would be receiving another top part in the mail within 3-5 days. A couple days later I got the top portion of the case and it fit PERFECTLY!!!

A big THANX to Seidio for the awesome customer service and setting things straight no matter what.

Buy from Seidio with confidence Droid Peoples!!!!! :yr1:
 
I LOVE my seidio case. I had a body glove and it broke after several weeks. Soon after I dropped my droid......I immediately ordered this case and it looks sharp and fits better than the glove....I also got screen protectors but dust ruined all 3...I've spent quite a bit on screen protectors and can't seem to attach them without dust. I've had verizon rep try and still bubbles caused by dust.....
 
I ordered a pink Seidio case on Amazon on Tuesday night and got it today (Thursday). So quick. Anyways, I LOVE this case. I had bought a plastic case at the mall and it made the phone so much thicker and look cheap but this Seidio case is thin, sleek, yet protective and beautiful. It has a great feel to it and I am so glad I got it. I don't think I will waste time on any other case. I am extremely happy with it!
 
Received my Seidio replacement top pieces - great fit!

Hang in there if you're still waiting for replacement top pieces for your Seidio Droid cases. I received mine today and yesterday, and the fit is perfect. Big thanks to Seidio for correcting the issue.

My keeping both the home and car docks that I've purchased has hinged on this case working well with the phone, and so far that's what I plan to do. If you're looking for both a case and dock package, or just a great case, then this is the way to go.
