soak email

The Bionic is slowly dying out. And most of the tech savvy people that even know about things like soak tests, have more than likely moved on to better devices.

Proof please "I thought" and "I was informed" is not proof.

Huh? This is not second hand knowledge, go look it up on the Motorola Bionic forums. He states very clearly that posting up that you received a soak test email violates the agreement. I'm not saying a agree, but he's the guy that runs the show so that is all that matters.

Update is suppose to start rolling out in phases April 15th which means most likely the Soak Test will take place starting today through the weekend if maybe at all who knows those who are part of it will find out soon I suppose.

Btw this has been confirmed by Big Red

As odd as it may sound, it seems like not even a soak test will be going through, at least in my opinion. Provided they did say that the window would be short, normally we test for 2 weeks or more. 2 days, even if it is flawless and everything, it seems like they're going to skip it to me.

And as for me, I wasn't part of the ICS soak test, but when I did a "Check for updates" on Oct 19th it said there was one. Someone said that was because the Soak and OTA were being done at the same time.

Thank you lol that's exactly my point. People need to start reading over stuff and actually attempt to find out something before they jump to conclusions. I'm surprised the update is here already. Considering how long it took to get ics

Honestly, I 2 must have misunderstood ...maybe bcuz I was so elated & estastic about JB...I mentioned it in the forums thinking it was okay. I 2 participated in ICS soak test & truly enjoyed it. I enjoy giving feedback off my device from trial & error of the software (OS). If, I broke policy & produce, which was totally unintentional I will be disappointed ...but will deal with it. It's there lost bcuz I'm very thorough with my evaluations. Maybe I should be open 2 other devices like the S4, Note 2, etc bcuz I have loved my bionic glitches & all. :hail:/

Update is rolling out....most likely to SOAK testers first...anyone got it yet. A few on XDA have.

I downloaded it , uninstalled safestrap recovery, used ota rootkeeper to keep root, and flashed thru stock recovery. Now running jelly bean on my bionic and I retained root!

I FXZed and lost root...now I'm stuck without root, probably forever after hearing they increased security in JB. :( This sucks.

Don't worry man. There will be a root method. When I get home I'll try to root with root method i used to root my maxx. Because apparently I did not keep root after all.

I was invited to the soak, but the forum invitation email was broken for me, a 403 Permission Denied and couldn't fix it, so I don't think I'm going to be a part of the soak.
