Yes indeed and same as the above post..easy as can be but not as easy as my old fave, z4 which doesn't work on gingerbread:-(

Hey guys, I just registered but have been here almost everyday browsing for a long time now. Anyways, I have the OTA GB installed and I am trying to root via one click root for d3. I watched the videos, installed the drivers etc...First I tried charge mode only, connects, runs exploit and does the first reboot but it reboots my phone to the boot loader. Tried pc mode this time around, same thing, on the reboot it goes into the boot loader. Any ideas? I want cm7 back lol!

Unplug the phone, reboot it, and plug it back in. It should continue the process when you plug it back in.

Just got 'em.... Love having this back. Really liking the oc/uv settings. Phone is nice and snappy again. Hope the battery does better with the new baseband and kernel.

so I was able to sbf to stock, install the ota update, then root flawlessly... that was until I mistakenly restored my backup for getting that I did the jakesbite mod v3 on my device so now I get to sbf back to stock and start all over again... Im at work now, I guess there is no way to sbf without my laptop :icon_evil:
I did the same thing. I had several issues throughout the process but am now on cm7gb.
Did anybody else have issues with the update after using the tbh app? I ended up using the ezsbf bootable CD to get the job done.

Anyone figure it how to undervolt using Jakebitesmod? I tried typing in undervolt after su in terminal emulator with no luck.

It's what I do.
Does anyone have an alternative link to the root program? The rootwiki mediafile link doesn't allow me to download (it's says "starting" but that's it). DROID 3 easy root script v7.zip
