[ROM] The CM7 Gingerbread ROM (CM4D2-GB) is now ready for prime time!

Lmao! Dude I've been hitting all this time from my bookarked site to check the status for the dl...and not even a minute after I checked I get your post saying its up...Dude this is badaxx as between the forum and checking I knew it was only a matter of time..And btw IDOPA! I knew you would be the first to post as always that its up..lol Thanks bro! And..just so we are informed just as quickly on new themes, ..Good ones though, I would like to get a thread going on the latest new ones found..so more daily checks on awesome possiblities comes our way...you know, additional sprinkles on this cake called Cm7!! :-)
Edit. By the way, I'm currently diggin the red passion..love the transparent forum with the red letters and my animations from a zip (forget which theme it came from) is killer and fast and looks beautiful...(nonpreview only works though)

Easiest is using Script Manager.

Put script on SD card.
Install Script Manager from market.
Open SM and browse to script file and select it.
Select the "Run as root" option in SM and run script
Use menu to make selections

Option 9 will set appropriate memory settings and OOO groupings, and make your launcher hard to kill...that's what I use.

You'll have to reboot to enable all changes, when you reboot you can run the script again to verify your settings are being held across boots...

Have fun. :)

Thanks brother! Working like a champ now

both of the phones i put the new cm7 9/2 on are going SUPER slow! i reflashed them twice and fix permissions and all of that good stuff....none worked. This rom is good and all, its just not very stable....There is just always something! take 5 seconds for it to load up my text messages is just crazy!

For the new update: The 2011-09-02:update, do I need to wipe then flash that and then flash gapps again?

OR

Can i just download, throw on the SD, choose that zip to flash. flash it. reboot, and be good?

You wipe cache and dalvik and then install. no need to wipe data. no need to reflash gapps. while your at it jakesbitemids are on v5 now if you dont have it.

anyone having issues with the market? There are a whole host of apps I can no longer see. For instance I was going to install an app called Diagnosaurus from "Unbound Medicine". Worked fine on froyo and the gb leak but now it its poof gone. In fact I can only see two apps from that company now and before there were like twenty. Weiiiiird......

mine was running like that I fixed permissions and ran the jakebitemodv5, now its pretty fast. It took about an hour for it to settle down and run right, I don't know why though. Oh I also overclocked a little with droid overclock.

So are those who SBFd to stock and ran the OTA happy with it and able to put the latest CMGB on it as well? I'm debating doing this today. Right now my battery life is retarded good on the 8/30 nightly and leaked GB.

Yes. I've never been happier! Sbf, install the ota, root with the d3 pc method and install cm7.

Top Notch stuff here.
