What did you do step by step? There must have been a mistake made somewhere

Sbf to froyo
Dl the ota and install
Root with d3 one click
Bootstrap
Wipe data, cache and dalvik
Mount system
Install cm7 9-3
Install gapps 8/28
Reboot

So you rooted the ota with the d3 one click right? Then bootstraped into cw. Wipe everything. Mount system and install cm7. That's it. Make sure the dl is from revs rootzwiki thread. Then gapps right after before rebooting.

How do i get back to the recovery screen in order to mount system..i didn't do that and i don't know if it was mounted. i got the dl from that site.

Mounting system is usually not necessary (to me it is).most roms do it automatically, but I do it just in case as a safe gaurd. If you're bootlooping, you'll have to sbf and start again.

alright ill try that...but i recently tried to install apex, but it sent me to a boot loop. Am i missing something here?

The files are good and
You don't skip any steps including mounting system

yea I always mount sys and data just to be safe, FWI it will say UNMOUNT when its mounted

Yeah. I was trying to calibrate my battery because my battery life was horrible. I ran it down and I'm trying to fully charge it before I do anything with it.
