Just called a different Verizon Wireless store near my house. I asked "Is the Galaxy Nexus coming out tomorrow." The answer I received was "It is coming out Friday, the 16th."

I know this is going to be a nice phone and I will enjoy it. But after all this I'm not sure we will enjoy it as much as if it had launched a while ago as we hoped. They hype will be hard to live up to.

But I'm sure I will love it!

So the guy that owns the Nexus in the other thread said that he got a 11mb update this morning. This could be the update the is supposed to be pushed out on launch day. So there is still hope that its tomorrow!

Still based on the same original AndroidandMe article + DL's opinions.... it really annoys me how any one outlet posts something and then all the others re-post it with added commentary and readers who follow muliple sources start to think there is more to the story because "everyone's reporting it".

If the two threads never split, we would be at 5389 posts and in 3rd palace with 406 posts away from overtaking t-bolt thread.

What is really mind-bottling is the divergence in "Thread Views" between the on-topic and the off-topic. They were even at near 174K yesterday (Identical when the threads split, of course), but now the on-topic is 181,953 and this one is 177,182. Shows just how many more people are coming here to lurk and look for info and not our random chit-chat haha

I thought we'd get to #2 easily, but I really do think it's going to release tomorrow and there's only been 10 posts in the last HOUR!

You guys are slacking!

Not to mention the on-topic thread is too depressing, and with nothing to read here you're forcing me to actually do some work to stay busy! Grrr....

Makes sense.... the update gets wrapped up and ready to rollout upon activation and VZW get's notified it's read and is finalizing their paper work/press releases with the first one in the que being "We will let you know when it is available" and here we are....

And a big FU to all you guys yesterday when I was trying to get my 5,000th post in here before my exam. You were amazed that I finished my exam in 20 minutes, but I pulled off a 84% and finished the year off with a 90% (A-)
