 your running stock stock. OOoooo a phone that's still got its cherry. :hail: I went with root a long time ago. kind of hard to resist the urge to rebel against the man (VZ) to stick with froyo. lol i guess i was rooted way before froyo though. more like 2.1.

Yeah, I was a tad nervous, but rooted it within a week. Needed wifi tether (see above) and PDANet wasn't working (problem with my XP machine). Been rooted ever since (along with rooting many, many co-workers' phones).

Yeah, back in Chandler on weekends, but NO WAY I'm waiting til the weekend to get this. Besides, I'm guessing I'll have an easier time down here. Tucson is pretty much a slum and I can't see that many Tusconites being able to afford this phone.

Sorry Tucson, but it's true. You couldn't pay me to live here (you can, however, pay me to work here ).
lol, i know what your saying. Thats true with many towns that are near the border. im just hoping their isnt a surprise line in the morning because im willing to go now but i dont think its necessary.

I downloaded and installed a 2.2 before it was released to my phone, i dont know if that counts?

I wonder why this launch feels so exciting. I was excited about the Bionic launch but nothing like this. I think ICS has me excited because it's such a refreshing change from past versions of Android and I've had the OG for 2 years, it feels ancient to me in terms of how long I usually have tech.

Hopefully we get 4.1 soon, it seems like it improves the Nexus a great deal.
Lol, froyo kinda felt like this but i didnt get a new phone. youll look back at this in a year and just laugh. i sure will. i do it about froyo now. :D i remember the race was on to get those roms out built from the sdk. glitchathon.

I just called the Verizon store in Gresham, OR. The sales lady said they are selling the Nexus tomorrow. She gave me her name so she could get the sale. Sounds like it is a go for Thursday. It is 7:07 PM here.

I rooted the day i joined this site. looks like you beat me by a month in march. i remember doing this all on the ASU computer and just getting weird stares as i was installing rsdlite and stuff. :D ahhh memories.

I didn't like Froyo at all though, love ICS so far(got to use the GSM Nexus all last week with my brother in from London). I'm sure there will be some incredible roms like always, but ICS is pretty sexy on it's own.
