I tried the app Light Flow and it didnt work. I have not rooted yet so that may be the problem. From what I've read, it supposed to work great?!

Glad you guys all got one. Checked one out and I agree it's really slick. I imagine we'll see you enjoying your phone at airports and train stations across the country in the next few weeks. Take it home, show it off and hope the ol' man doesn't get too upset cuz ya got another phone! Have a good holiday guys! (maybe I'll get to enjoy my ice cream sandwich someday soon too)

Finally have my Nexus. I bought the extended battery for it and the Incipio case. The case fits perfectly with the extended battery in case anyone wondered about that. However, the car mount will not so I bought a universal one they had at the store and it works perfectly with the case on.

I got mine too, second one in the store to get one at 10:15 no one in line and no Galixy Nexus display either, I had to ask if they were available. Looked one over that belonged to the sales rep and he said he had it for 3 days. Left the store to think about it and returned at 11:45 am and to buy it and i was was still the second person to actually buy one. Any i love it so far except my 3G signal seems weaker at home than my Thunderbolt was. Not 100% sure yet cause i use WiFi most of the time i am home. On WiFi it blazing fast. May have to take it back?

My store opened at 9, and I was first in the store. Walked in, said I wanted a Galaxy Nexus, and screen protectors. I got the guy to get all the cases they had so I could try them all out while he was doing the computer stuff.
So far...I LOVE IT!!!!
Coming from the Droid X, this is an upgrade in every way possible with the same size screen. So I'm in heaven.

A heads up, the screen protectors in the stores suck. -_- I was gonna use one until mine came in the mail Monday, but that things horrid.

The ones that came with the power and protection package is workin ok until i can do better,i just wished they'd cover the whole 4.65 screen

Got home with mine, went to activate it. It keeps connecting and you hear the activation music for about 2 seconds, it hangs up, redials then does the same thing about 5 times and says I need to restart the phone.
I restart the phone it goes through about another 5 cycles and says I need to restart the phone.
I powered it down, pulled the battery and reseated the sim. Same thing again.
I noticed that it only had 1 bar in the signal strength meter. I am going to drive out and see if I can find a strong signal so it can hopefully activate it.
Close to the store where I bought it from so I can return it if it doesn't activate.

The lady tried to get me to buy accessories but i told her i just had a buncha stuff coming in from amazonMine had to be activated in store, they said something about having to enter info in their system for it to work?
I got my Nexus but I was sweating it out until I could leave the shop. The boss was out doing some service with one of our techs and being #2, I had to wait until after their lunch to leave. Got to Verizon between 1 and 2PM MST. They asked, "What can we do for you, today?" I told them "I am here for my Nexus!" Shazam, they still had some.
Didn't activate yet due to our shop environment. My case will be here tomorrow and then I will fire it up, unless I just have to play with it. I just wanted to be sure to get one. The photo (resized) is from my OG and it will be doing "retirement" WiFi duty on my home network.

I dont think you have to be rooted.. wasnt there a video of a guy changing the led with an app??
