The "Official" Waiting for an Update Thread

Late April pretty much and still no word. I'm pretty surprised that we haven't gotten even a single word from Verizon regarding an update by now. I mean I love this phone and I have no issues but this is far from the Google experience I was expecting considering this was the closest device we've had to the OG droid

Im one of many, that wished I'd waited and got the phone alot cheaper then 300 on release day.Wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't dropped 300 duckes for her.ooh!!!,well,it is what it is.On a positive note, went to McDonalds and bought a double chz burger meal with Google Wallet, pretty cool, cashier was like-Cool!!!!!

Lady at my local convenience store thought I hacked her register!! I was dying!!!DancingNexus

The Sprint Nexus is pushing 4.0.4,somebody plz tell me Im dreaming.

The Nexus S 4G is. It'll be interesting to see what the Galaxy Nexus comes loaded with on Sprint. I'm assuming it'll be 4.0.2. But what will be even more interesting is to see the difference in update cycles on the Sprint GN vs. the Verizon GN - especially since they're both CDMA/LTE devices.

Forgive my cynicism, but $100 says Sprint's GN gets updated faster. :icon_eek:

Well, if it's a "one up game" you have to release 4.04 before 4.05. So that means maybe late next month.

How did you get Google Wallet install? I tried to get it from Android Market and it says that it is not compatible with my device. I have a VZW GNex.

I found a QR code and it went right to the market and let me accept and download. I also have a rooted vzw gnex running 4.0.4 and I get a warning saying that it is an unsupported device but it let's me make purchases. If I can find the link I will post it.

Use wallet at your own risk. Be advised, the secure element error strikes at random. If you're willing to accept the risk, then by all means, install away.

What ROM are you running?
