I need to win the rugged case because you feel sorry for my Droid. Yes, I do have a Sapphire Blue Innocase, and yes it saved my Droid when I slammed my car hatchback down on it. Sure the Innocase still bears the scars of the incident. But as you read this you are drawn to my ignorance, overtaken by pity. You empathize, and feel compelled to ensure that even this one Droid does not have to live in fear.

I need a protective case,
to protect my DROID for me.

For it would be a shame,
And I would probably start to cry.
If I dropped my beloved device,
And watched my phone say goodbye.

What is this you say? There is a case for me?
A beatuiful SEIDIO RUGGED case? This item I must see!

So now drops and scratches I do not fear.
The sound of a broken DROID will be something I will not hear.

What else I say? If the need arises,
I can take off the RUGGED skin, and only use the InnoCase Surface with minimal surprises.

If you think this poem is bad,
or if it makes you sad,
brings back memories of a broken DROID,
with a case you could avoid,
any future breaks or tears,
while running from wild bears,
or when sitting on the couch,
while watching re-runs of My Name is Earl with a slouch.

An InnoCase RUGGED is what I seek,
But don't get paid for another week.
I also probably could not afford,
While saving up for room and board.
For college is not far away,

I deserve one because I've got a new baby boy coming at the end of June. This is our second kid, so the next time my wife gives me $30 to buy my own case will be about 18 years from now when both kids finally have their own jobs.

I love this site . I frequent it daily . All of the news and support are worth reading and the moderators and contributors deserve the utmost praise . That being said I'm not going to beg for this case . I could tell you that I have been laid off for over a month (true) I am a heavy equipment operator when I am working (true) and I have a bunch of games that I downloaded when I was working , many on the advice from people on this site , that my 6 yr. old plays and consequently the phone has been dropped many times because of this (true). I don't have a "true" case for my phone because I simply can't afford it and would love to protect my lifeline to almost everything from GPS to television to games to actually making phone calls . The biggest thing I have ever won in my life was a decent lottery ticket and being that , as far as I'm concerned , this is better , it would be great to win . I wish everyone on here the best of luck in being chosen to win one of these 3 cases , and knowing that I most likely won't be one of them due to the shear odds of it I congratulate whomever the winners are .

I really need protection for my Droid.

My Droid really loves to have sex with other phones. It thought that it was protected to the max with the BodyGlove™ that its currently in complete with protective display cover...but up until recently...the rubber has started to come off! Now what? Droid doesn't want to get any other Droids/HTCs pregnant! All hope seemed lost until we both found this contest. My Droid is begging you to pick him for the winner of this contest. He has been having withdrawals from not being able to "dancedroid". In closing, i'm sure that with the Rugged case that those withdrawals would cease to exist and he could be again, so please Admins, choose my little Droid as a winner for your contest and help him prevent bringing more :motdroidvert:'s into this world....which wouldn't really be a bad thing if you think of it.

Why I need this case.

I have a habit of putting my phone in my coat pocket. My car sits low to the ground so when I sit down i have to make sure my coat is all the way inside the car. I often don't think about it and slam the door only to have it bounce open because my phone was half in and half out. So far may cheap case has held up but it scares me every time.

There a couple of reasons why I want this case...

To start with, I'm a rookie Firefighter. Yes, it goes in my bunker coat with me to a fire which sometimes is not a good thing. With all the particulates in the air it gets pretty dirty sometimes. There would be less of a worry when hazing goes on around the station that if I were to have a bucket of ice water dumped on me while in a stall using the bathroom, I wouldn't have to worry so much about it. Or when I'm out doing some PT and 1&3/4" attack line is opened up on me to be followed a bucket of flour, there will be much less worry about my phone getting ruined.

These are just a few examples of what has happened to me as a rookie and will continue throughout my career. This happens to all rookies and I was warned before my first day on-shift, don't have anything on you that you don't want to get ruined because your first day is ROUGH! We save lives with water but we also prank with water. And it always happens when you least expect it.

Secondly, as a second job, I work part-time building and upgrading cell towers and my phone goes up with me to work and it gets banged around A LOT. I have all kinds of dings, scratches and chips to prove it that would not have happened if had a quality case on it. So I would be really appreciative if I was picked for the free case.

One of my jobs is landscaping actually an owner as well so I'm in dirt water sand on concrete an allsorts of hard materials. This is my business phone as well as personal so I need it to be tough. Plus ibride a motorcycle so it would be nice to have protection. In more than one way.

Because my daughter is a monster and a half and could pick that phone out of the ocean. Know's it is "dada's" and loves looking at all the pictures I take of her. She likes to take it and pretend to throw it and I have a heart attack and she laughs about it. I know one day, she will take the darn thing and huck it into the universe somewhere and I wont have a phone, this case appears to be the one to save me from the grief.

Let's see, Every phone I have owned before this one (5 in total) have ended up bricks due to my rugged treatment of everything I own. MY last phone, The samsung glide, met it's demise falling out of a 60 ft. tree onto concrete while I was geocaching. My White chocolate was run over twice in slushy snow by both my wife's and my vehicles. and my current droid has taken numerous falls already putting nasty pits and dents in the aluminum body, not to mention I work in a pizza shop with flour, cornmeal, liquids of all sorts, grease, and a terra cotta tile floor that just eats up anything drug across it or dropped on it. My wife has always wanted me to be a product tester for ANYTHING,in the 9 years I have known her, I have been through 4 cars, 2 Xboxes, 5 phones, and numerous computers; so this is my first attempt at getting into doing it.

i don't know how creative this response is, but i currently hike 5+ miles a day and it would be amazing to be able to protect my droid during these hikes with this case!

Well the main reason I bought my Droid is to keep myself busy during all of the down time I will have next month during annual training for the Army National Guard. I'm going to be spending 3 weeks in Camp Ripley Minnesota out in the woods and I would hate to ruin my new phone

With that said I am probably going to buy a case before I go, but certainly not until after this contest is over!

As a law enforcement officer, I rely on my droid for backup on a daily basis. Its part of my gear. I go through cases like their gum, but i make sure my droid is always protected. It truely is my silent partner. A sturdy case would be helpful as i usually wear it on my shoulder, opposite my radio mic, for hands free talk (no bluetooth!). well good luck to everyone.

I need thid case because this is phone is well built but not rugged. This is one of like two things droid doesn't but with this awesome case droid DOES rugged! Droid DOES fall 25 feet and not get a single scratch on it, and droid DOES with stand anything that may happen it its long life because this phone is epic, it will be around like the razr (which i still see people use those) anyway i need this case lol.dancedroid
