Settings>Applications>Developement>stop app via long press
Long pressing the Back button will kill the foreground application

Now can someone tell me what it's good for................................?

For apps that don't close properly and apps that require pushing back button through several screens to exit. Works great to actually close browser instead of sending to background. I also use it in Tapatalk to quickly exit without backing through screens. I can see why it is disabled by default. I have had a few weird things happen like keyboard getting stuck on screen and accidentally closing ADW.

Yep that's what happened to me...everything closed down and had to redraw everything back, kinda sucks if you ask me....just my 2cents. But I don't think that's how it is intended to work. I just won't use it.....UNCHECKED.

Alright I'm going from UD5 to UD10 so much has changed! The folder that once held just the boot img, now has a boot img and 2 extra folders. That means I can't install from nandroid because it gives me the error for too many sub folders. I Also cant do the update zip thing from sp recovery since it gives me a status 7 error. (whatever that is) Do I need to update my Kernal, recovery?

If so how?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know about the first time, but I tried it again and it just did. I'm moving back to clockwork to see if I can get anywhere with them over sprecovery. Think that might help?

You're trying the wrong ROM. Here:

That will get you to the right link and the correct ROM.

Anyone have an issue where the Market won't recognize the apps your purchased after UD 1.0.0? I went from Leaked 2.2D, wiped data/cache 4 times, SPrecovery to UD1.0.0 final, and everything is perfect with the exception that my paid apps dont recognize. And yes, I am using the same gmail account.. I even have the receipts in my gmail account mailbox... weird... and I want my apps back but don't want to repay for them.. rebooted 10 times... no effect? Any ideas? thanks.

Actually, I think it was just a port that someone did. It was only once and never got to see it again.

Loving this ROM.

I've run:
CM6 (hated all the slowdowns, it was slower than stock for me)
BB 0.5 (pretty good)
SS 4.8 (pretty but slower than BB)
BB 0.5 again (had some more issues, but ran it for a longer time. Slower this time)
Now UD. I love it. Only two issues so far - 1 is Google Search not updating..doesn't really bother me. 2 existed on BB round 2 before but i'm puzzled. Market downloads are absurdly slow over 3G...like 20 minutes to update a normal sized app. WiFi it goes at a normal speed. Today i deleted cache and data for Market, we'll see if that fixed it.
