Yep that's what happened to me...everything closed down and had to redraw everything back, kinda sucks if you ask me....just my 2cents. But I don't think that's how it is intended to work. I just won't use it.....UNCHECKED.Haha yea dont say you just found it and dont say where it was! I have been looking for it myself?! Meow.

Settings>Applications>Developement>stop app via long press
Long pressing the Back button will kill the foreground application
Now can someone tell me what it's good for................................?
For apps that don't close properly and apps that require pushing back button through several screens to exit. Works great to actually close browser instead of sending to background. I also use it in Tapatalk to quickly exit without backing through screens. I can see why it is disabled by default. I have had a few weird things happen like keyboard getting stuck on screen and accidentally closing ADW.
