Ultimate Droid Froyo eXtreme 8.0.0 - Droid

Are there any updates for this Rom available? I have noticed with my Droid that if i hit the back button it goes to previous apps that were open like the Previous Ended Call screen and hangs for a few seconds. So far I am liking UD7 Better. Permission Fixes did help with some of the FCs I have been having.
 
UD9 was supposed to be released last night. Still waiting. There was a delay on releasing UD8 due to some bugs. I wouldnt worry about it. Either flash back to UD7, or try something else until UD9 is released.
 
anybody else have a little issue with the address bar on horizontal, this is the only issue I have had with UD8, seems to flicker and I cant see the address I am putting in? Other than that this is great and I am very happy and using this build, cant wait for UD9
 
As soon as I finish with the setup wizard it force closes and then I get stuck on a black screen and can't do anything. tried like three times already and it's the same thing. any ideas? I always wipe the cache 3x and then factory restore first. don't know what is going on...
 
Loving this ROM. It's been the best Froyo ROM I've ever used.

But I am having a few issues. Didn't know if these were isolated or if you guys are having these problems:

-Data connection randomly shuts off. I still have cell signal but 3G just disappears, sometimes for a few minutes at a time.

-GPS won't obtain a lock. I get endless 'Searching for GPS' (for several minutes). A reboot usually resolves this.

-The Market is often very slow, or doesn't respond at all.

I'd say the data connection problem is the bigger issue.

I've been having that as well with the 3G going off and sometimes my signal goes completely updated the radio hoping that would solve it but still have issues.
 
Currently running this ROM with the Watermark'd theme..best set up I have found so far. Phone stays cool (low 90's), with Quadrant scrores in the 1500's. There is no lag, no force closes..GREAT ROM!

I read about a lot of drama with the Blackdroid/Pete/bgill BS, but after running this rom for a few days, I am on the Blackdroid bandwagon!

Great ROM Blackdroid, where can I donate?
